Who else noticed how the end of episode 7 is setting up Hal Jordan as a father figure for John?
After John hit Sinestro, Hal said "Great arm, kid". Those are the same words his Dad said to him when he threw the baseball. Then there's the Father to Son song by Queen.
Also, Hal left John the key to his safe just like his father did to him.
I guess the show is trying to give both John and Hal the family they never enjoyed.
The cop in Zach Creggerâs Resident Evil didnât last long after he took the zombie lady with him in his car, so why didnât he turn into a zombie himself after he was unalived?
After hitting a zombie lady with his car, Bryan the courier was stopped by a cop. Bryan admitted immediately he hit the zombie lady, and the cop agreed to escort him to Raccoon City Hospital on account of the medical bag and take the lady in his passenger seat. The escort didnât last long though. Shortly after Bryan started following the cop, the copâs car swerved and flipped off the road, and when Bryan checked on him, the cop was unalived. #residentevil
The question here is what unalived the cop. If it was the zombie lady, he should have been infected not long after and pursuing Bryan too. Even though it seems like it was the car accident that got him, itâs surprising that there was no transmission of the T-virus from the zombie lady.
If Vision is worthy because he's an AI machine, then an elevator is worthy too. Tony was right. Vision lifting Mjolnir doesn't mean he's pure of heart; it means physics and programming don't register under Odinâs organic magic criteria.đŹđż
THAT CLOCK IS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT OBJECTS IN INTERSTELLAR, AND IT'S EASY TO MISS WHY.
The entire movie constantly reminds us that time is not experienced the same way by everyone.
For Cooper, time becomes an aggressive enemy. Every single minute spent on an alien ocean represents years stolen from the people he loves back on Earth.
For Murph, the passage of time feels like growing abandonment. Every year that ticks by becomes silent evidence of everything she is forced to lose while her father stays frozen in age.
That is why the wristwatch carries far more weight than a standard movie prop. It is not just measuring seconds or tracking a countdown.
The clock is a physical manifestation of grief. It represents the growing emotional distance between a father and daughter who are living through the exact same timeline from completely different realities.
Doom respects Steve so much that he doesn't accept Sam as Captain America at all in the comics. He does not see Sam as a worthy opponent or as the leader of the Avengers. He ignores him all the time. (Oh yes, they both play chess.)
The lecturer called my name before I had even reached my seat.
âAmara, come with me.â
I knew something was wrong.
He took me to the examination office.
A printed answer script was sitting on the table.
âDid you write this exam?â
I looked at the paper.
My name was written at the top.
âYes,â I said.
But something was wrong.
âI didn't submit this.â
The lecturer frowned.
âYour name is on it.â
âI know.â
âAnd this is your handwriting.â
I stared at the paper.
Some of the handwriting did look like mine.
But I knew I hadn't written the answers.
I was accused of cheating and suspended pending investigation.
The news spread through the department before I even got home.
People called me a fraud.
My closest friend stopped answering my messages.
Then I remembered something.
Doctor Strange is partly responsible for how much of the Avengersâ chaos gets worse.
Everyone praises him for being the smartest guy in the room, but sometimes his strategy feels like: âDonât worry, I have a plan⌠and absolutely none of you are getting the details.â đ
In Infinity War, he sees millions of possible outcomes and basically turns into the MCUâs most stressed-out chess player.
Then No Way Home happens, and suddenly one spell has Peter dealing with villains from across the multiverse.
Strange is brilliant, no question, but maybe someone shouldâve taken away the magic remote once in a while. đ
From runaway icon to everyday elegance.
Then: Dominating icon to everday high-fasshion catwalks as a modeling legend.
Now: Embracing simple moments as a moments, businesses woman, and style-setter. Nicole Murphyâ¤ď¸
Thereâs something about that Vision footage in the Endgame Encore trailer that really caught my attention.
At first, I thought Marvel was simply bringing back a familiar face for nostalgia, but then I started thinking about the timing.
Why remind audiences of Vision now?
We already know his story isnât finished. We know heâs returning, but Marvel hasnât revealed exactly how far his story will connect to the larger MCU.
And thatâs where my theory starts.
What if Marvel is quietly reminding us about Vision because he has a much bigger role waiting for us?
Imagine Doomsday arrives and Vision suddenly becomes important to the conflict, carrying memories, information, or something connected to the Avengersâ past.
Maybe Iâm connecting dots that arenât actually there.
But if Vision ends up playing a major role in the next Avengers story, this little trailer moment could look very different in hindsight.
Would Marvel really bring Vision back into the conversation this early for no reason?
Thereâs something about that TVA footage in the Doomsday trailer that caught my attention.
At first, I thought Marvel was simply showing us the TVA again, with Mobius, O.B., and the whole crew, then I started thinking about what theyâre actually seeing.
Why are missiles being fired during an incursion?
We already know one of those Earths is connected to the Fox X-Men universe, and now thereâs an incursion happening between their Earth and another one.
And thatâs where my theory starts.
What if the X-Men we see in Doomsday arenât simply the same characters we remember from the Fox movies, but survivors who have already lived through multiple incursions?
Imagine an X-Men team that has watched their world collapse over and over again, potentially surviving several incursions while billions or even trillions of people are lost around them.
Maybe thatâs why this version of the X-Men could be completely different from the ones weâre used to.
Theyâve been through something the other Avengers havenât experienced, and depending on what side youâre on, they might not even look like heroes anymore.
Maybe Iâm connecting dots that arenât there.
But if incursions are happening everywhere, and the X-Men have already survived several of them, then Doomsday could be a completely different story from the moment it begins.
Would Marvel really show us these incursions this early if they werenât going to completely change who these X-Men are?
Unpopular Game of Thrones opinion:
Ned Stark wasnât a great leader. He was a good man, and those are NOT the same thing. đ
He warned Cersei. Trusted Littlefinger. Refused Renlyâs help. And openly challenged Joffreyâs claim before securing enough power to actually do anything about it.
Tywin was cruel. Littlefinger was evil. Cersei was reckless.
But they understood the game.
Ned didnât.
Iron Man 2 (2010)đĽ
What if Tony Stark had never figured out how to save himself?
The suit made him powerful.
But this time, the very technology keeping him alive was slowly becoming his biggest weakness.
Pressure from the government.
A new enemy with a personal grudge.
And a hero running out of time.
Tony Stark had everything, except the one thing he desperately needed.
Time.
If you were Tony, would you keep fighting⌠or walk away before it was too late?đ
THE VOICEMAIL
After his girlfriend died, James kept receiving voicemails from her number.
The first one was only three seconds long.
âI miss you.â
He cried when he heard it.
The second came the next night.
âJames, please listen to me.â
Then the third:
âHe's pretending to be me.â
James froze.
He checked the number.
It was definitely hers.
He called it back.
Someone answered.
There was silence for a few seconds.
Then a man's voice whispered:
âYou finally heard the message.â
James asked, âWho is this?â
The man replied:
âThe person who has been sending them.â
James's blood ran cold.
âWhere is my girlfriend?â
The man laughed quietly.
âJames⌠your girlfriend never sent you anything.â
Then another voicemail arrived.
James played it.
His girlfriend's voice whispered:
âDon't believe him. He's standing behind you.â
James slowly turned around.
Nobody was there.
But when he looked back at his phone, a new voicemail was already waiting.
Sent from his own number.
âRun.â
