ગુજરાત સરકારે હંમેશા ખેડૂતોની સુખાકારીની ચિંતા કરી છે, અને તેમની લાગણીને હંમેશા વાચા આપી છે. વીજલાઈન માટે ખેડૂતોના ખેતરોમાં થાંભલા ઉભા કરવાના થતા હોય છે, જે અંગે ખેડૂતોની લાગણી હતી કે તેમને વધુ વળતર ચૂકવવામાં આવે.

ગુજરાત સરકારે આ અંગે ખેડૂતો સાથે ચર્ચા-વિમર્શ કરીને તેમના આર્થિક ���િતને સર્વોપરી રાખીને ખેતરોમાંથી પસાર થતી વીજ લાઈન, વીજ ટાવર ઉભા કરવા બદલ ખેડૂતોને જંત્રીના બદલે હવે બજાર ભાવના બમણા દરે વળતર ચૂકવવાનો નિર્ણય કર્યો છે.

ખેડૂતોની જમીનની વાસ્તવિક બજાર કિંમત તટસ્થ અને પારદર્શક રીતે નક્કી થઈ શકે તે માટે રાજ્ય સરકાર ‘માર્કેટ રેટ કમિટી’ (MRC)ની રચના કરશે, અને તેમાં અસરગ્રસ્ત ખેડૂતોના પ્રતિનિધિ અને ખેડૂતોના ઓથોરોઈઝ્ડ માર્કેટ વેલ્યુઅરને પણ સ્થાન આપવામાં આવશે.

વળી, આ ચૂ���વણું અગાઉ ત્રણ તબક્કામાં થતું હતું, તેના બદલે હવે એકસાથે 100% વળતર ચૂકવવાનું પણ નક્કી કરવામાં આવ્યું છે.

અન્નદાતા એ વિકસિત ગુજરાતના નિર્માણનો આધારસ્તંભ છે. સરકાર હંમેશા અન્નદાતાઓની પડખે હતી, છે અને રહેશે.

VIDEO | Gujarat has achieved another major milestone in strengthening its power infrastructure with the commissioning of India's first STATCOM system at the 220 KV Timdi Substation in Gir Somnath by Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation Ltd. (GETCO). Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, the state is advancing towards a world-class smart power grid, ensuring greater voltage stability and a more reliable electricity supply for consumers across Gir Somnath, Junagadh and Amreli. The nearly ₹1,400 crore initiative will particularly benefit farmers, support the expansion of smart transmission infrastructure, and accelerate Gujarat's vision of achieving 100 GW of green energy capacity.
