In a nutshell, that is the nexus between culture and HIV hence there will be a conversation with girls so that such imperative information is imparted.
The internet is a form of culture nowadays as it governs our young generation thereby putting the young at risk of contracting HIV. Art as a form of culture comes in as an instrument that can bring awareness about HIV to young people thereby uplifting the voice of the girl child.
@GETrustZim
Culture is defined as norms that govern a society.However, some of these norms actually give rise to the spread of HIV among the young generation.
@GETrustZim Over the 16days I have been part of the many groups that were conscientising young girls about GBV. Then going forward we will delve into culture and raise awareness on HIV and amplify the voice of young girls.
@mustoe2014 Mustoe tomorrow marks the end of the 16 days of activism. Tell us what you’ve been up to and how you’ll continue the campaign beyond the 16 days?
Girls have a right too! An empowered girl child is an asset, not just to her family, but to her community and the world.
Support and uplift your fellow girls, everyday🤎
