@AerLingus Thanks for the reply @AerLingus but can I ask why this is so close to the flight time considering passengers are undoubtedly going to face very long delays after bag drop when going through security? Feels pointless to arrive early ?
@AerLingus We are due to fly from Lisbon to Dublin @ 10:50 on May 28th during the SEF strike. We are happy to arrive at the airport v early & allow time to pass through passport checks, but we have bags to check-in - will we be able to that from early morning?

@rodrikdani I think short answer is that UK moved faster in authorising and buying vaccines than EU. It would have had freedom to do this, even inside the EU, but it might not have exercised it given the pressure for EU solidarity. But it might have, given the long tradition of UK opt-outs
