ATTN: #glutenfree eaters & #Celiac peeps, @bixbychocolate website says most of their products are certified GF but they won't say who certified, just that they follow FDA rules. They say their oats are GF but oat company says they are NOT GF! Was glutened by Bixby. More soon.
@MIGlutenFreeGal I’m so sorry for your loss. 🥺
I ran into stuff like this when my wife died (in a hospital in Tenn) in 2019. That’s when I learned there is a Collection Agency for the Deceased. They ended up being the most compassionate & helpful place I spoke with during the whole ordeal.
@CalCeliac@GFWatchdog 9/27 already passed. Is it by 10/27/23 or by 9/27/2024? My internet is having slowness issues (provider apparently doing maintenance) and links won’t open for me right now.
@ad_rogers@GFWatchdog I'm looking at Tribel but haven't got an account yet. (Owned by founders of Occupy Democrats.) Currently aside from Twitter, I really just have a FB page for my website.
@DairyFreeGina That Celiac Disease isn't one, but if I tell a restaurant/manuf. that I have it, they should take it as seriously. (I think it creates issues for CD & actual food allergies if we have to say we have 1 to get taken seriously with CD.) (And that wheat allergies can exist with CD.)
@gfreefun I can only have the PP oats, but b/c I know many Celiacs can't even have those, every time I write to a company to about the oats, I always ask them if their their non-oat items are on shared lines; if so, do they realize there are Celiacs who can't have ANY of their products?
New @crostamollica#glutenfree Margherita Pizza has launched this week at @Ocado.
Contains GF wheat starch (which should be emphasised in ingredients).
Contradictory 'may contain' information re: sesame.

@MIGlutenFreeGal 🤦🏻♀️ I’m autistic but the only reason a GF diet is beneficial to me is because I have Celiac. It doesn’t make me any less autistic.
If the kid has Celiac/gluten intolerance/wheat allergy, fine. It will help their digestion. They’ll still be autistic, which doesn’t need a cure.
