VIDEO | Barabanki: Bal Vatika centres are being rapidly expanded across Uttar Pradesh to provide play and activity-based learning for children aged 3 to 6 years, with the aim of building a strong foundation before Class 1. Under the initiative, 69,796 Bal Vatika centres are currently operational, benefiting 45.81 lakh children, while the government is strengthening early childhood education through pre-primary teachers and nodal teachers. The model, aligned with NEP 2020, focuses on foundational literacy, numeracy, creativity and holistic development, with parents also appreciating the learning environment and facilities provided to children.

प्रदेश के समस्त बालवाटिका (को-लोकेटेड आंगनवाड़ी केंद्र) युक्त विद्यालयों में ‘नवारंभ उत्सव’ का सफल आयोजन हुआ। इस पहल के माध्यम से बच्चों के शैक्षिक जीवन की सहज, आनंददायक एवं प्रेरक शुरुआत सुनिश्चित की गई।

कार्यक्रम की औपचारिक शुरुआत अपर मुख्य सचिव, बेसिक एवं माध्यमिक शिक्षा श्री पार्थ सारथी सेन शर्मा जी और महानिदेशक स्कूल शिक्षा श्रीमती मोनिका रानी जी द्वारा संयुक्त रूप से विकासखंड सरोजनीनगर के ग्राम रामचौरा स्थित प्राथमिक विद्यालय की बालवाटिका से की गई।

इस उत्सव का मुख्य आकर्षण रही रेत पर लेखन (Sand Writing) गतिविधि जिसके माध्यम से 3-4 वर्ष के नन्हें बच्चों ने खेल-खेल में अक्षरों से परिचय प्राप्त किया। सीखने की इस नवाचारी विधि ने शिक्षा को बनाया और अधिक सरल, रोचक एवं आनंदमय।

साथ ही, 3-6 वर्ष आयु वर्ग के बच्चों के नामांकन को प्रोत्साहन देते हुए कक्षा 1 में प्रवेश प्रक्रिया को भी सहज एवं आकर्षक बनाया गया।
