If seats go from 543 to 816 seats, the magic number goes from 272 to 409.

All 5 South Indian states together have

129 / 543 = 23.8% of Lok Sabha today
195 / 816 = 23.9% in the proposed model

Share is basically the same
And the share of the magic number is also obv the same

129 / 272 = 47.4% of the majority today
195 / 409 = 47.7% of the majority after expansion

So what exactly is changing for South States?

If anyone should be protesting, it is UP and Bihar, because the proposal makes each voter there less represented
