The fact that every site on the Web asks for my feedback on their performance, and yet clearly is not interested in my performance means that there is some other agenda being served by that dialog box. What is it? Whose is it? What are the gathered statistics used for?

There really needs to be a semi exclamation point for when a period conveys too little enthusiasm in a work-related email but using the full exclamation point makes you seem like a psychopath.
