Read this article. DEI has only one purpose, and it has nothing to do with social justice or equity.
Every person carries a moral frame that precedes any training module: conscience, faith, community. Romans 2:15: the law written on the heart. DEI exists to displace it.
The endpoint is moral authority reassignment. Away from God, family, country, conscience. Toward the NGO-Administrative Complex. That's what the training was always for: consultation transfer.
The military was a top target because it had to be.
The working-class men of Rotherham in 1901. Imagine trying to tell them what would happen to their great-granddaughters, in the very same houses and streets that they knew.
What happened to my bank account? Absolutely nothing.
You believed a lie.
You believed a lie that was told to you by your political class, and your news media, to keep you from asking uncomfortable questions about how much you are paying in tax, where that money is going, and what quality of care you actually receive for the portion of it they didn't steal.
Don't believe me? Look at the pictures.
Look.
At.
Them.
That's my wife, @acrobatichobbit. Before and after.
That's a five centimeter mass. Stage 4 metastatic melanoma. The worst kind of cancer, the most vicious form of assassin your own body can betray you with. That bright area? Blood.
Ten years ago, anywhere in the world, the scan on the left is a death sentence... an endless gauntlet of painful surgeries, followed by chemotherapy, hair loss, uncontrolled vomiting, wasting away to nothing, death.
In America, today, it's not.
We have things here. Genetic therapies. Tailored viruses that attack tumor cells. Drugs that highlight cancers for your immune system, drag them kicking and screaming into the spotlight to be killed.
I won't tell you about her exact course of treatment, because that's none of your goddamned business, but I will tell you that it cost American drug companies and medical researchers a fortune to discover.
A fortune that your nation cannot afford because you chose socialism instead of progress. And socialism, however fine-sounding in theory, simply does not work.
Were she and I British, living in Britain, relying on the National Health Service, I would be a widower now.
Did saving her cost a ruinous amount of money?
Yes. This technology was expensive to create, and the people who did so deserve to pay their mortgages and feed their kids. So do the oncologists and surgeons.
Many of the men who cared for her were old men, experienced men, long past retirement age, still working because when your profession is clawing souls back from the void, sitting on a beach with a pina colada instead just doesn't hit the same.
They deserve every cent.
Did saving her cost a ruinous amount of money?
Yes.
Did I pay it?
No.
Because believe it or not, when things are ruinously expensive, but vitally necessary, we here in America come up with ways to deal with that.
Ways that don't involve creating a big pot of money and entrusting it to corrupt slimeballs.
We have insurance. And sometimes insurance isn't cheap, but the bite it takes is a hell of a lot less of what we have than the tax man takes from you.
And insurance companies sometimes have to make hard decisions about which spending choices will save the most people. I know about this in detail, because that is my wife's profession. She creates the mathematical models that pay for all this stuff.
The insurance that saved her is the exact same plan that she provides to others.
And at the end of an awful year and a half of treatment, awful because cancer medicines make you far sicker than the cancer itself...
We were left whole.
Battered and wounded in spirit, but financially whole, at least.
The only loss we took was the blow to my career as a novelist, because it turns out you can't write stories while your wife is dying, and you don't automatically recover that ability afterwards. Not right away.
I wondered every day if she was going to live or die. I wondered every day what the hell I was going to with myself without her.
But I never wondered, not for a moment, how the hell we were going to pay for all this.
Your government doesn't solve the problem. It is the problem.
They lie to you.
There is infinite tension in the progressive world-view between "it was always like this" and "the past was infinitely reactionary until progressives gained a smidgeon of power 3 seconds ago"
So they'll tear down statues of past progressives without caring because every year is year zero to them (that way they never have to own any failure)
They'll make fiction with wildly inappropriate ethnic casting, pretend it's period appropriate or that you're crazy for objecting then later they'll base their beliefs on that very fiction
Seattle had -2% real wage growth in the last 12 months and the highest inflation in the country. Maybe the founder of the Seattle-based Economic Opportunity Institute should ask himself why that is instead of writing a 5,000 word screed about Nashville lol
The people who set up a parade float of a rainbow guillotine decapitating the gay mayor of Providence that appeared at a Pride parade were socialists demanding rent control and homeless services. The Pride parade organizers approved it as the standard part of left political messaging that open advocacy for political murder is rapidly becoming.
Liberals spent two generations converting virtually every institution in this country into a propaganda machine that taught people how Western civilization is an illegitimate tool of oppression for straight White men upon the innocent BIPOC/LGBTQ/Marginalized peoples of the world.
And then, when someone finally takes the premise seriously and declares that the whole thing must be abolished as a moral imperative, those same liberals suddenly panic and ask "How could this happen?"
It’s essential that more people see news stories like this. They need to understand that foreigners cannot pillage this country with total impunity.
Millions shared the headlines about the hundreds of millions and even billions in fraud that Somalis perpetrated over the years in Minnesota.
But unless they also see the headlines about these people being arrested and going to prison, the message we will be sending to the Third World is “Please come here and commit more fraud” while the message we send to our own people is “Nothing will ever happen. You may as well become a trooned out accelerationist and vote Democrat.”
Hugo Chávez, like Zohran Mamdani, vowed to smash entrenched elites, redistribute wealth, and end poverty through bold socialist programs.
Result in Venezuela? Roughly 8 million people, a full quarter of the population, fled the country in desperation from hyperinflation, shortages, and collapse.
Yet fans of Mamdani cheer the same playbook for NYC, convinced this time socialism will magically deliver in the world’s financial capital, despite its spectacular failure just hours away by plane.
History isn’t a suggestion. It’s a warning.
A few months ago, a Danish newspaper ran an article about a poor immigrant family in Denmark in which both parents are unemployed.
According to the article, their benefits are so low that the Danish Institute for Human Rights warns it may be at odds with the Constitution.
We've now found out how much the family actually receives in benefits and subsidies:
It is $69,000 a year + free education for all their kids + free healthcare.
In Argentina, rent freezes destroyed the housing market.
When Milei got rid of the price controls, supply rose by 300%, and rent prices decreased compared to inflation.
But communists are nothing if not absolute idiots who refuse to learn from history.
MANCHESTER AIRPORT ATTACKER JAILED - Mohammed Fahir Amaaz, 21, from Rochdale, who was previously convicted of one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, assault by beating, and assault on an emergency worker.
Today he was sentenced at Liverpool Crown Court to a ridiculous, embarrassing 3 & half years Jail.
Yet people have been jailed longer, for posting stickers on lamposts. There's no justice in the justice system, there never was....
This is why all these old laws Biden abused need to be wholesale abolished. They are broken beyond repair and will just be abused again if left on the books.
First the Haitians and now this…
Meet Family HealthCare Network. They run clinics in California and call themselves a charity for poor people. But their own CEO gave a speech that says otherwise.
There’s a government program called 340B, and the deal is simple: certain clinics get to buy medicine dirt cheap, and they’re supposed to pass those savings on to poor and sick patients.
It’s also easy to abuse. A Haitian man in Florida was just sentenced to prison for milking 340B and blowing the money on luxury cars and homes.
So what did Family HealthCare Network do with it out in California?
Their CEO got on stage at a fancy beach resort and gave a presentation. One slide said it all: “340B Net Profit.”
His game plan, in his own words: find the handful of patients on the priciest drugs (just 1 to 3 out of every 100), team up with every big pharmacy like CVS, Optum, and Kroger, then buy those drugs cheap, get paid more, and pocket the difference. He even bragged about a tool that spots exactly who those patients are.
In 2021, this little trick made them about $48,000. By 2024, they’d perfected it and expected to pull in millions. A program built for poor people, turned into a cash machine for the clinic.
Here’s the part that should make you mad. While the money rolled in, their own auditor found problems with how they handle government funds. Their assets jumped about $50 million in a single year, up to around $350 million.
And the patient stories are ugly. One says they were locked alone in a dark room for hours after the clinic closed. Doesn’t sound like patient care is the priority, does it?
So add it up: A “charity” for the poor, making millions, using a program meant for the needy to instead print money. This program needs serious reform or else this sort of fraud and abuse is just going to keep happening!
You know how PepsiCo lowered the price of Lays products after RFK Jr. decided you can't use SNAP to buy them? The prices weren't high because it just costs so much to slice up and fry a potato. It was because they didn't care whether or not you could afford it because the people eating them were those getting it paid for by your tax dollars. When that was no longer a viable business model, they had to start pricing competitively again. You know, the way a free market is supposed to work.
The same logic applies to healthcare and universities. These corporations get their money from the government via people who are subsidized by the government. That's why college tuition has increased at three times the rate of inflation since the 1970s, and prescription drugs somehow cost less when you don't use insurance to pay for them (even private insurers get money from the government).
If you've ever wondered why TVs are among the only things that have gotten cheaper over the past ten years, that's why. The government doesn't buy TVs for people, so TV manufacturers actually have to care if consumers can afford them and must compete with each other on price.
So what will happen when everyone loses their jobs to AI and no one has any money? Don't worry, Big Daddy Government will give them your tax dollars. And when those run out, they'll just print money and devalue what little you still have. But as far as they're concerned, that's your problem.
@e_osys@TrumpFolkArt@SeanMcCarthyCom@Riko_de_Sama Some of those are as believable as the J6 kangaroo court hearing 3rd-hand testimony that Trump somehow "overpowered" his ex-miltary Secret Service driver to steer the car towards the capitol.
@e_osys@TrumpFolkArt@SeanMcCarthyCom@Riko_de_Sama -"The bullet is said to have stopped in his body (neck) and did not directly punch through"
[Deflected off body armor edge]
-"The weapon might...have been an explosive microphone"
I want to believe communists are just misguided and not genuinely retarded, but sometimes, man...
🚨 JUST IN: Stephen Miller SHOOTS DOWN the notion President Trump can't deport Haitians because Haiti is "dangerous"
"Haitians live in Haiti! It would be CRAZY for us to say Haitians can't live in Haiti."
"The fact pockets of Haiti have higher crime rates?! Guess what! Pockets of CHICAGO have high crime...it has NEVER been the case that high crime rates is a basis for asylum. Never has been, never will be!"
@StephenM LFG 👏🏻
