@JesseHillas@NHLFlames Like an apology, an AOL is meaningless if not given with a genuine and authentic spirit to move forward in a good way. It’s important to ensure that AOL does not become simply ceremony (which in and if itself is important but can become just something we do with no meaning).
Tips for new admin:
1) Assume your staff want to be good at their job. Give them the benefit of the doubt.
2) Trust their professional judgment.
3) Involve staff in decision making when possible.
4) Communicate to your staff that you value them.
5) ALWAYS have their back.

That really shouldn’t be too much to ask of anyone trying to hold Alberta’s highest elected office. #ableg#abhealth
So proud of these kids! @ArbourLake_CBE Principal’s Advisory Council used their #studentvoice to present to staff their thoughts and suggestions in creating an effective learning environment. #studentadvocacy#weareALS
Shocking… university graduate students struggle with understanding CRT as a methodology,
it’s origins and it’s purpose. How and why would the AB #UCP government think CRT was ever on the table to be taught in K-12 schools. This is fear-mongering, deflective lunacy. Falsehoods!
After Premier Kenney denounced critical race theory as divisive ideology on the weekend, Education Minister Adriana LaGrange was asked to define CRT and point out where it was in the 2018 draft curriculum.

@PEARAlberta@albertateachers@schill_dawg Why? Teachers are not elected officials AND elected officials aren’t working in buildings with hundreds of other people. Start listening to your name and advocate for public education instead of attacking it.
@PEARAlberta With the amount of work just to keep schools operating right now, this doesn’t seem very important... does it??? In person learning or boundaries??? Again, as always, I’m curious why whomever is behind this account considers criticism as the only means of advocacy?
