@Se_Railway I have a ticket from Rainham (Kent) to Oxford parkway. It says "valid via any permitted route". Does that mean I can use either the rainham to London Victoria route or the high speed rainham to st pancras route for the first leg of my journey?

@Se_Railway Your initial reply said network rail 'often' plan work a year in advance. This did not seem like a definitive answer to this specific instance. Please can you confirm exactly when this particular work was planned? And exactly when south eastern knew it would be happening?

@Se_Railway @RideLondon was in the calendar more than 11 weeks ago. The date of this major event has been known since at least Aug 2022. Why would you announce that travel to a major event is not possible at such short notice? Please can you confirm exactly when these works were scheduled?
