@theswanthrone@MattWalshBlog Obama is American, he’s talking about America’s involvement because a lot of Americans are uneducated, why would he talk about an entire continent instead of the country he was president of.
@MattWalshBlog Because he was an AMERICAN president and is speaking about AMERICAS involvement, because many Americans downplay the role the country played in slavery. Why tf shouldn’t he acknowledge the country’s history, you sound fucking stupid.
@KishanNavadiya4 Cornswets escaped from the pull of a black hole with his breath while he had Kryptonite poisoning. Snyder’s Superman lost to Batman, and doomsday while receiving help from Wonder Woman. You sound dumb as shit.
@Batshineman@vento_auero@VicktoryArtz You want the heroes to be in their late teens to early 20s for good, without them evolving as people, or heroes. Extremely weird hill to die on. Give me an actual example of a character whose mythos is being changed by them being aged up and given a family.
@Batshineman@vento_auero@VicktoryArtz The characters are still recognizable dumbass. Them growing and having families doesn’t make them unrecognizable unless you’re an incel. It’s weird, a lot of these characters go through bigger, more notable changes and retcons, but this is the one you don’t like.
@Batshineman@vento_auero@VicktoryArtz No, you prefer them to be a way that you like. These heroes aren’t the same as they were in the 50s, they quite literally change with the times, simple as that. Batman’s no kill-rule is something essential to his mythos, not whether he has a family or not dumbass. Stop larping.
@Batshineman@vento_auero@VicktoryArtz Superman being with Lois, and becoming a dad is just the natural progression of his story and expanding his mythos. There’s a difference between expanding and desecrating the mythos which you don’t seem to understand. Heroes are supposed to grow and expand with the times.
