I am deeply humbled and grateful to God Almighty for the opportunity to take the Oath of Office as Minister of Employment, Labour and Social Security.

I sincerely thank His Excellency the President, Dr. Julius Maada Bio, for this high level of confidence reposed in me. I trust that Almighty Allah will grant me the wisdom and energy to exceed expectations.

I also thank my party, the SLPP, our supporters, the Parliament of Sierra Leone, my family, friends, colleagues, and all Sierra Leoneans for your prayers, support, and confidence in me.

This appointment is not just an honour—it is a responsibility to serve with integrity, humility, dedication, and results, especially in advancing decent work, protecting workers’ rights, and strengthening social security. I shall work with colleagues here to achieve the dream of His Excellency and make the lives of our people better.

The journey begins. May God guide me, and may our beloved Sierra Leone prosper. 🇸🇱

Thank you all. 🙏🏾

Umaru Napoleon Koroma
Hon. Minister of Employment, Labour and Social Security.

One way we could get a female president is if the main parties i.e. APC & SLPP present female presidential candidates. 🇸🇱

@MensaOtabil @drmikeokonkwo Yes. Communicating, sending emails & actually meeting people to talk solves a lot of problems & gives so much clarity.

If your purpose is huge that God entrusts you with destinies, you may repeat cycles until you deliver those destinies. Sometimes it's about loosing your ego & reaching out with a message. When they reject/ignore, say "Thank You Lord!", because you've delivered/fulfilled it. 😊🙏🏽

Torma Bumhas always been a key element of our Feed Salone agenda. I drove out to the field to see the progress we're making in growing what we eat.

A paint & chat event with politicians, leaders, development partners & policy makers would be a good time to present my first set of activity books (3). Expensive seats, but blessings & wisdom would be shared. 😊

When God blesses you with his gift, you have to flaunt it. Meanwhile, I need an artiste... 😊

I'm ready to start manufacturing. Time for that multi-purpose design factory & some workshops. First, I need a good gym 💪🏽. 𝑮𝑲 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒅𝒖𝒄𝒕𝒔... Soon. ✌🏽😊🥂
