Today, I had a stopover at Remijous Academy, located at the former Max Care Medical Centre. We shared inspiring insights. I also took some time to add and review paragraphs for my upcoming book—a commentary on the offences under the Cybercrimes and Computer Misuse Act, 2026.
This morning, I bought 100 USD at the rate of 2,425,000 SSP from black market dealers because my money (SSP) is in the bank account, and I am unable to withdraw it due to the scarcity of the local currency in commercial banks.
A few hours later, I exchanged it (100 USD) at the rate of 560,000 SSP (cash).
Dear economists, calculate the loss from this trade.
What provoked my concern is that the money changer gave fresh SSP notes, labelled 2026 as the year of production.
• Where are the money changers getting the newly printed SSP that commercial banks do not have access to?
• Is the central bank aware of this? Or is this their side business?
• What measures are in place to curb these situations, because innocent people are starving, and many businesses are collapsing?
• Why are we legalising unlicensed money changers and empowering them over the taxable, licensed, and productive commercial banks?

In Juba you find someone in a club drunk & wasted but then two months later you find them as an office Manager of a National Minister or even a Minister themselves. It’s either these people are so good at fixing their lives or this country just rewards losers.
The core of Benedicto Kiwanuka’s legacy of upholding justice with courage is the crucial need to defend and advance judicial independence and the rule of law. A Judiciary under attack cannot protect citizens. We must ensure our courts stay free from (any) interference. The courts must be guided solely by law and conscience.Keynote by @FGimara
The life of CJ Benedicto Kiwanuka challenges us today. In a world where judicial officers, human rights defenders, and reformers often face intimidation, the example of Benedicto Kiwanuka reminds us that justice demands courage that without courage, justice is reduced to rhetoric by @FGimara.

Our willingness to serve those around us—in our families, communities, and workplaces and the way we live have immense power to draw those who have previously refused to accept God's teaching to be persuaded to believe. We may not need to say anything; just our lives preaching!
Biblical love is a decision to righteously, compassionately and sacrificially seek the well-being of another, even when not followed up by emotions. #SSOX@love
In all the work you are given, do the best you can. Work as though you are working for the Lord, not any earthly master. Remember that anyone who does wrong will be punished for that wrong. And the Lord treats everyone the same. (Colossians 3:23, 25 ERV) #ssox#SouthSudan

Today, I signed a new 15-year license for MTN South Sudan, marking a major step forward in aligning telecom operations with South Sudanese laws. This milestone reflects confidence in our regulatory progress.
Thanks to the NCA Board and the Hon. Minister of ICT for their guidance. The new license replaces outdated terms and introduces obligations to improve service quality, expand coverage and drive innovation. #ConnectingSSD
