One of the biggest improvements I expect from my Tesla Model 3 is having at least double the radius for Summon (ASS). There was a thunderstorm today when my colleague and I were getting off work. I tried to demonstrate how my Model 3 can pull up to the front door so that we could wait under the roof without having to walk to the parking lot and get wet. But we were about 10 meters away from the edge of the circle. So we walked into the rain and huddled under my umbrella while I tried to summon the car. The funny thing is, it headed in the opposite direction and soon went out of range again. We had to jump across a wide puddle and walk toward the Model 3 to get back within range as it took a detour to come to us. We ended up walking even farther in the thunderstorm.

I didn't find this frustrating at all. In fact, I found it very funny, because it can be easily fixed by extending the radius of ASS. It makes sense to me because the same situation has occurred to me a couple of times when I was in the HEB and shopping malls parking lot. The parking lots in Texas are huge. I often find ASS is not in range unless I actually walk into the parking lot and get close to my car. At that point, walking directly to it is faster than having it come to me.
