I was living in the Bay Area when I received my diagnosis on September 23rd, 2013. The #Parkinsons support group I joined was sponsored by a #Cannabis club. We would meet every Monday morning. The name of our group was Wake. Shake. And Bake.
April is national #Parkinsons month. Many Parkinsons sufferers like me use this time to travel. We do not take vacations. We take trips. Usually in the Fall. To places like Shaker Heights, Ohio; Falls Church, Virginia; and Niagara Falls.
My favorite #microbrewery and #massage#parlor is called the #Hoppy#Ending. I go there for their #mug and #tug special. It is an expensive beer, but you leave with a smile on your face. Iβm good for one. Need to take a nap if I want to go a second round.
The #Parkinsons workout program I recently joined has added a new instructor. He is four years old and will be responsible for teaching us how to properly do #pullups.
Had my six-month check up with the neurologist today. Very positive. She is pleased with how things are progressing. I was diagnosed with #Parkinsons in 2013 and began seeing her in 2018. We have agreed to reduce the CL intake from 7 to 6 pills a day. #Warrior!
