Please retweet this as it is the only way the voices of these people can be heard.
NO media coverage.
NO international SUPPORT.
Let’s be their amplifier and draw the likes of @GiorgiaMeloni , @vonderleyen@EU_Commission to the mess they’ve created in the region for refugees
THE ATTACK OF THE LIBYAN GANGS ON THE RESCUE SHIP MARE JONIO @RescueMed
In front of all the cameras and the law, they kill people publicly and get away with it. Thanks to EU funding of these Libyan gangs called the Libyan coast guards.
The bravely in which the activist from @RescueMed continued to rescue the shipwrecked and the terrified people who jumped to the sea is incredibly powerful and as if it was a fantasy film but this is the reality at European external borders.
Solidarietà all'equipaggio di Mediterranea Saving Humans!

In the past year, @LabasBo has also become our home, providing us with a place to engage in politics and continue organizing the struggle for freedom of movement. Our primary objective is to open safe passages to Europe, advocating for the evacuation of all those still trapped in Libya and fighting for the defense of human rights. This fight for freedom also occurs through safe spaces where we can gather, organize, and find new allies. That's why we defend the existence and resistance of Làbas and the social value it offers to the city of Bologna through mobilizations and mutualistic projects carried out daily in Vicolo Bolognetti.
🧨The Central Mediterranean Analysis by Alarm Phone is out!
It covers the second half of 2023, a period of time during which we supported 653 boats in distress in this region. 1/4

The comrades who died off the coast of Tunisia on the 7th of February.
May they rest in power💔
None of them was an illegal person but full humans who were escaping a bloody civil war in Sudan!
To us they were not numbers they were humans

Two years ago on this date, we experienced #Gargaresh, a time when we endured degradation, humiliation, and being reduced to insignificance. Our lives were treated as if they had no value, measured only by the militias and exploited by the government. We will never forget or forgive.
However, this degradation served as a unique force, inspiring us to become the strong voice we are today, advocating for justice on behalf of the oppressed, the weak, and the silenced.
Join us tonight from 17:00-18:30 CEST as we provide updates on the situation in Libya over the past two years, share current developments, and present our future roadmap as a testament to our resilience.
