Two years ago on this date, we experienced #Gargaresh, a time when we endured degradation, humiliation, and being reduced to insignificance. Our lives were treated as if they had no value, measured only by the militias and exploited by the government. We will never forget or forgive.
However, this degradation served as a unique force, inspiring us to become the strong voice we are today, advocating for justice on behalf of the oppressed, the weak, and the silenced.

Er war im Oktober 2021 in #Gargaresh #Tripoli Opfer von Milizangriffen. Mit seiner Familie beteiligte er sich dann 3 Monate am Sitzstreik vor dem @UNHCRLibya Hauptquartier, bevor es am 10. Januar gewaltsam aufgelöst wurde.

Yesterday the so-called security forces violently raided homes of refugees living at the #airport_road About 100+ were arrested followed by arbitrary detentions.Their properties all stolen, Libya seems to enjoy these notorious inhumane acts on people, while the world is silent 😶
There are currently 1.191 people detained in #Ainzara, 321 of them are persons of concern to @UNHCRLibya. These people are victims of #gargaresh & the 3 months peaceful demonstrations. They have spent months behind bars. in the last 3days they have been drinking from the toilets

After a thorough scrutinization to what & where, happened to our sister.We learnt that she was not raped in #Gargaresh but in another neighborhood the same day Gargaresh was raided.
Nevertheless,this remains one of the plights that goes unreported in Libya.
