@karlstwitt@Daniel_Rapaport The purpose is to rank players based on performance in qualifying events. LIV events don’t qualify, even now. It’s on LIV to change if they want the points, not the rankings.
@karlstwitt@Daniel_Rapaport LIV waited too long to make the changes. It’s amazing that they’re even getting points given they still don’t meet the rules.
@JoeWest784409@KevinBarton11 Playing 14 times on LIV probably hurts him. Could use the extra DPWT starts to get into the top 50 and get his PGA Tour card and be in all the majors and sig events
@BobSuraFans@CPowers14@JCAGOLFReport I’m supposed to be mad that the players who matter are getting paid more than the ones who don’t? And going forward, they earn equity based on FedEx Cup finish, the exact opposite of “pulling the ladder up.” Play well, make money.
@BobSuraFans@CPowers14 How is the ladder pulled up at all? No one who’s playing well and beating players at their level regularly is getting shut out of anything.
@JoeWest784409@Robopz Because who gets a spot from the “at risk” group isn’t based on merit, it’s based on who your friends are and the flag next to your name
@KevinHornePSU It obviously all fell down this year for a bunch of reasons and he had to go. But without a championship level investment I’m worried Campbell is just going to have the same problem. And I like him a lot! I think he’s going to say the exact same things Franklin did
@KevinHornePSU Maybe it’s Franklin’s fault for not being convincing enough. But his message for 12 years was “we do not do things operationally or financially like the teams we want to beat” and he was right. It’s not the only reason we didn’t win, but it’s true
