@RealBillyGrant This isn’t a “Trump is always right” thing. This is a “Mike Lindell damaged his own brand so bad that even the nuts in MN didn’t want him” thing.
There’s masterclass, then there is knowing Minnesotans. Lindell ran and lost the endorsement process so selfishly ran in the primary.
@pattiandersonmn@drscottjensen Name ID will do that.
Further proof that the endorsement process means absolutely nothing and the party has been a joke for… at least 15 years.
Amy Klobuchar didn’t “earn” the nomination or primary win — This is a Kamala-esque “candidate swap” DFL coronation.
Tim Walz was squarely running for reelection last fall when he announced a third term run— and then he withdrew after the MN Fraud scandals.
@bmcclung@LisaDemuthMN@Michele_Tafoya It starts at the top. The MNGOP has been a joke for at leeeeeast a decade, I’d say more like 15+ years since I’ve taken the leadership seriously.
The lack of professionalism and cult-like support for caucuses and endorsing WEAK statewide candidates got us into this mess.
@amyklobuchar Amy Klobuchar is just Tim Walz in lipstick.
Don’t fall for the schtick, Minnesota.
She accomplished nothing as a US Senator in almost 20 years.
We don’t need Tim Walz’s third term to be a rubber stamp for whatever cracked idea the DFL comes up with in St. Paul.

History in the making:
Minnesota will finally have its first female Governor.
MN Speaker of the House Lisa Demuth has won the GOP primary and will face Democrat US Senator Amy Klobuchar in November.
It is far past time to finally retire the outdated caucus endorsement process in the MNGOP.
Primary elections matter.
A closed primary would be best, but single party ballot works for now.
End the endorsement fights, save any chance at flipping MN red again.
The MN GOP endorsement was a fortress.
Before tonight.
Gov - Qualls in a distant 3rd
Sen - Schwarze in a distant 3rd
Auditor - George getting crushed
This is an ugly result for the MN GOP party endorsing process.
@walkerorenstein 2500 delegates and alternates versus a couple hundred thousand voters....
The stakes are too high to continue this endorsement non-sense. We need major reforms in the @mngop on how we operate for future elections.
BREAKING: Minnesota House Speaker Lisa Demuth is projected to win the Republican primary for Minnesota governor, according to Decision Desk HQ.
She will defeat Trump-endorsed Mike Lindell and Minnesota GOP-endorsed Kendall Qualls, and face off against Sen. Amy Klobuchar in the general election.
@andyformn@raplikowski@LisaDemuthMN Retire the endorsement process & move to a primary system, saving a LOT of resources.
MNGOP endorsement process has been outdated for a solid 10 yrs. 20 if you want to be more accurate, since we haven’t had any statewide wins since then. Candidates & leadership have been awful.
