Today we remember the signing of the Comprehensive Agreement on the Bangsamoro (CAB), signed by the Government of the Philippines (GPH) and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) 12 years ago on 27 March 2014 at the Malacañan Palace in Manila.

The TJR Summit: Fostering Collective Action towards Inclusive and Sustained Peace in the BARMM, organized by the @intl_dialogue, showcases resource- and identity-based conflict resolution processes, peacebuilding, and transitional justice.

GPH Panel Chair PA Cesar Yano highlighted the importance of transitional justice and reconciliation at the TJR Summit held today in Davao City.

In his keynote message, he discussed gains and challenges of the BARMM and how these affect the implementation of the CAB. He also highlighted the crucial role of civil society in humanizing the peace process and ensuring that peace is truly felt by everyone.

Moderated by renowned journalist Ms. Jamela Alindogan, the session delved into major accomplishments, public perception, priority ways forward, and other issues pertinent to the #BangsamoroPeaceProcess.

In the conference��s opening plenary session, GPH and MILF Peace Implementing Panel Chairs PA Cesar Yano and Min. Mohagher Iqbal, along with Atty. Randolph Parcasio of the MNLF, discussed the status of the #BangsamoroPeaceProcess and prospects for peace in the region.
