Earlier this year, APD and UTA launched an innovative new program that gives students the opportunity to review real cold cases in an effort to develop new leads.
Their work recently helped detectives make an arrest in a 1991 murder.

I don’t often stop to feel proud of myself, but this is one of those moments. After a lot of hard work,I’ve earned my CLPE through the IAI. It’s humbling to join a small group of professionals -fewer than 1,000 worldwide, including about 80 in Texas -who hold this certification.
Thank you to all veterans for your sacrifice and unyielding love for our country. We are honored to have dozens of veterans who now protect and serve our great city!
