As the devastating Ebola outbreak continues to grow in DRC and Uganda, we have begun to see #false #narratives in Russian news media suggesting that the outbreak could be a form of biological warfare waged by actors in the US, including pharmaceutical companies.

It highlighted how false or unverified allegations can shape positions before technical clarification, distort discussions and increase polarisation.
