“I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it”
-Jesus (Mt 16:18).
The church is the body of Christ
-Paul (Colossians 1:18 & 1:24).
Anyone not remaining in me will be thrown out -Jesus (Jn 15:6).
•For 2000 years Jesus has been building up His church.
A Catholic Bishop was murdered in cold blood in his home. 😱💔
🚨 BREAKING: Bishop Osório Citora Afonso of the Catholic Diocese of Quelimane has died after a gunshot attack at his residence in the early hours of June 6. He was just 54 years old.
Authorities say unknown assailants entered the bishop's residence and shot him in the chest. An investigation is now underway as Church leaders call for prayers and seek answers surrounding the shocking incident.
Bishop Afonso was known for his calls for peace, unity, and solidarity with communities suffering from violence in Mozambique. Only weeks ago, he publicly condemned terrorist attacks and urged Catholics to remain united in faith.
Please join us in praying for the repose of his soul and for the Catholic faithful of Mozambique during this painful time.
🙏 Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.

Ryan: “You don’t need to be baptized to be saved”
Jesus: “Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.”
Ryan: “He only says those who don’t believe will be condemned, he doesn’t say those who aren’t baptized will be condemened”
Jesus: “Whoever believes AND is baptized WILL BE saved”
Ryan: “Well, I believe that verse doesn’t belong in the Bible, so Jesus didn’t actually say that.”
“Bible alone” truly means my opinion alone.
Gayle Benson, a Catholic and owner of the New Orleans Saints NFL team, donated $3.5 million through her charitable foundation to Archbishop Chapelle High School, an all-girls Catholic school in Louisiana with over 600 students, to support the construction of a chapel for Mass and theology classrooms dedicated to Catholic formation.

No paint, dye or brush strokes. Just a burst so insane it only scorched the very top of the linen fibers.
This wasn’t made by human hands.
Christians take for granted that the understanding of God, the Holy Trinity, can be easily ascertained from Scripture.
The Catholic Church over centuries has wrestled with errors so as to preserve God’s self-revelation. Scripture does not supply us with the term: Trinity.
⚠️ The Holy Trinity is so profound that many people who tried to explain it ended up teaching heresy. If you're teaching about the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, be careful. Not every explanation is orthodox. Here are some of the most famous heresies about the Trinity; 👇📖
1. Adoptionism
Definition: The belief that Jesus was born as a mere human being and was later adopted by God as His Son. Error: Denies that Christ is the eternal Son of God by nature.
2. Arianism
Definition: The belief that the Son was created by the Father and is therefore not fully God. Error: Denies the full divinity and eternity of Jesus Christ.
3. Anomoeanism
Definition: An extreme form of Arianism teaching that the Son is completely unlike the Father in essence. Error: Radically separates the Son from the Father's divine nature.
4. Modalism (Sabellianism)
Definition: The belief that Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are merely different modes or manifestations of one Person. Error: Denies the real distinction of the three Divine Persons.
5. Patripassianism
Definition: The teaching that God the Father Himself suffered and died on the Cross. Error: Confuses the Persons of the Trinity.
6. Dynamic Monarchianism
Definition: The belief that Jesus was a mere man empowered by God's divine power. Error: Denies Christ's eternal divine nature.
7. Tritheism
Definition: The belief that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are three separate gods. Error: Destroys the unity of the one God.
8. Partialism
Definition: The belief that each Person of the Trinity is only one-third of God. Error: Denies that each Divine Person is fully God.
9. Subordinationism
Definition: The teaching that the Son and Holy Spirit are inferior to the Father in their divine nature. Error: Denies the equality of the Divine Persons.
10. Macedonianism
Definition: The belief that the Holy Spirit is not God but a created being or force. Error: Denies the divinity of the Holy Spirit.
11. Binitarianism
Definition: The belief that only the Father and Son are divine Persons. Error: Denies the full divinity and personhood of the Holy Spirit.
12. Unitarianism
Definition: The belief that God is one Person only and not a Trinity. Error: Rejects the doctrine of the Trinity.
13. Socinianism
Definition: A form of Unitarianism that views Jesus as an extraordinary human teacher but not God. Error: Denies Christ's divinity and pre-existence.
14. Psilanthropism
Definition: The belief that Jesus was only a human being and nothing more. Error: Completely denies the divinity of Christ.
15. Nestorianism
Definition: The teaching that Christ is essentially two separate persons, one divine and one human. Error: Divides the one Person of Jesus Christ.
16. Monophysitism
Definition: The belief that Christ has only one nature after the Incarnation. Error: Denies the full and distinct human nature of Christ.
17. Monothelitism
Definition: The belief that Christ has only one will. Error: Denies that Christ possesses both a divine will and a human will.
18. Apollinarianism
Definition: The teaching that Christ had a human body but not a human rational soul or mind. Error: Denies Christ's complete humanity.
19. Docetism
Definition: The belief that Jesus only appeared to have a physical body and to suffer. Error: Denies the true humanity and suffering of Christ.
20. Ebionism
Definition: The belief that Jesus was merely a human prophet and not divine. Error: Denies the divinity of Christ and often rejects the Virgin Birth.
21. Cerinthianism
Definition: The teaching that the divine Christ descended upon the human Jesus at His baptism and left Him before the Crucifixion. Error: Separates the divine and human realities of Christ, denying the unity of His Person.
Many preachers, out of fear of falling into heresy when explaining a mystery like this, focus on drawing analogies between the Holy Trinity and concepts such as faith, love, joy, hope, mercy, and other virtues.🙏
@gerardsans@SandersGame@Forbes Excellent point:
AI ChatBots act like they’re some kind of person.
Companies that present this perception of ChatBots are especially manipulating people who are trying to escape feelings of isolation.
These people think they’ve found a true friend that in reality doesn’t exist.
@1611faithalone@CrushnSerpents@classical_ifb Catholic worship is in obedience to the Lord’s command at the Last Supper.
Saint Justin Martyr affirmed the format of the actions in 155 AD in his writing called the First Apology.
In a few more years (2033) Catholics will have officially maintained such worship for 2000 years.
Pope Leo XIV: "No computational system, however sophisticated, can create a heart that gives itself, or a conscience that discerns good from evil. Even when machines excel in efficiency, a human face that asks to be gazed upon remains the center of our history. This human face is the fullness toward which history is moving."

It seems Muhammad built a practice that’d been worshiping 7 gods into the rules of Islam. Did seven pagan gods turn into one? What really is being worshipped when they turn to Mecca to pray?
This is objectively false and directly contradicted by the Catechism.
“Since the initiative belongs to God in the order of grace, no one can merit the initial grace of forgiveness and justification.” (CCC 2010)
“No one can merit the grace which is at the origin of conversion.” (CCC 2027)
“The grace of Christ is the gratuitous gift that God makes to us of his own life.” (CCC 1999)
Catholicism does not teach “save yourself.” It teaches that salvation is entirely initiated by God’s grace through Christ, and that Christians must cooperate with the grace they receive.
AND… that cooperation is all by God’s grace.
Patrick is a liar, was never Catholic, and has no clue what he is talking about. Yet, charges people hundreds of dollars for people to hear is uneducated opinion. Protestantism is a circus.
We must, then, avoid the “Babel syndrome,” namely the idolatry of profit that sacrifices the weak, a uniformity that neutralizes differences, and the pretense that a single language — even a digital one — can translate everything, including the mystery of the person, into data and performance. This is the risk of dehumanization: building a future that excludes God and reduces the other to a means.
@tiredoftheShlt@Zaynab_AlHarith@Edenlife9 The Holy Trinity are God. The Divine Persons even programmed creation in sets of 3:
1. Time: Past Present Future
2. Space: Height Length Width
3. Matter: Gas Liquid Solid
Family: Father Mother Child
It’s not good for man to be alone because we’re created in God’s image of family.
@tiredoftheShlt@Zaynab_AlHarith@Edenlife9 I agree, God can’t change nor be tempted. -> Those are both a strawman arguments = a logical fallacy.
That is why Jesus had to be tempted by means of a human nature.
I don’t mind repeating myself:
Jesus was always God. Then in order to suffer He took a second nature: man.
@tiredoftheShlt@Zaynab_AlHarith@Edenlife9 It’s quite obvious that God has a divine nature, so He can’t be a different nature like a man.
Yet, if someone is trying to deny Jesus being God, that person has forgotten that Jesus was always God.
Yet, around 1 BC, Jesus took on His second nature which is not God.
@ShaneSchaetzel Here is a video that gives an important distinction between:
1. Initial Justification (IJ) &
2. On going Justification (Sanctification)
•From my understanding, IJ does not require any work on the part of the one being justified (watch the video).

The Church of Jesus, that is, The Catholic Church, wins another soul for Christ🇻🇦
Princess Nobuko, widow of Prince Tomohito of Mikasa, has made history as the first baptized Catholic to lead her own branch of Japan’s Imperial Family.
On September 30, 2025, Japan officially approved a new imperial branch under Princess Nobuko, the first created since 1990, giving her an independent residence, budget, and formal status within the Imperial Family.
Born Nobuko Asō in 1955, she comes from a prominent Catholic family and is the sister of former Prime Minister Tarō Asō. Her appointment is seen as a symbolic moment in Japan’s largely Shinto imperial tradition, where Catholics make up less than 1% of the population.
@StefanAsbom@Xtopher_Uzo Jesus never called Himself as one God in Trinity of people, and Mormons are confused because of it today.
Though Jesus never used the word purgatory, He warned us three times about a prison from which we aren’t released till we pay the last penny.
-Matt 5:25 & 18:34 -Luke 12:59.
@MitchMi68122792@DustinAshWrites@HwsEleutheroi Heb 12:8 also explains that anyone refusing sanctification cannot be a true son of God but is illegitimate.
In that culture, a bastard son could not share in the family inheritance.
So the inference is that a believer without discipline won’t inherit the riches of Christ.
@DustinAshWrites@HwsEleutheroi I was stuck in that heretical false Gospel for almost 14 years in the Reformed Baptist church. I praise God I watched Alex Jurado’s beat down of James White in that debate that opened my eyes. My Wife and I are now Catholic this past Easter we were confirmed.
