@Dirac3011@inforussellbr@Ve_e_V There was no hindsight involved - he made that quote immediately after the race. Had he known KA was going to put he’d have wanted fresh medium tyres. His goal was to win the race and it’s absurd to suggest he’d have wanted to stay out
@Dirac3011@inforussellbr@Ve_e_V GR post race interview: “I also would have preferred to pit.” He didn’t consider it because the team told him KA was staying out!
Bahrain 2023, Shovlin:
"But almost always when you've got your two cars racing together, you would stop your lead car first. The reason you do that is because if you stop the second place car, he's always going to undercut the other and then you've inverted the cars."
as per their words, they've "inverted the cars". AGAIN.
@mmxrie63@formularkhaia Also worth pointing out that George on old hard tyres was pulling away from Verstappen on new mediums at the end of the race. Phenomenal driving which was completely overlooked by Sky
@icelady8704 Even my family who dont follow F1 were asking why they didn’t pit George first new tyres. For the first time I KNOW that the team are actively preventing George from winning. It’s a horrible feeling and contrary to everything I was taught about fairness in sport
