A wild bear caused chaos in Japan after sprinting through a shopping center and triggering a multi-day hunt that forced 94 schools to close.
Officials in Utsunomiya, north of Tokyo, captured the bear Tuesday after it was tranquilized, dragged by its limbs, and loaded onto a truck as police stood nearby.
The city had urged residents to stay inside at night and keep doors and windows locked after multiple sightings since Saturday.
