The church of England has just voted (carried in all 3 houses) for the House of Bishops motion on "The prayers of love and faith" - blessing gay marriages. This feels like a watershed moment in the life of the Church of England, warmly welcomed by some but schismatic for others.

The creation of the universe is not a repeatable observable event which can be scientifically verified; rather theories are extrapolated from observed data (which is open to multiple interpretations)

Archaeology can provide confirmation of history, but very little is actually preserved. So far you've presented absolutely no proof.

Often, technology advances to look more closely & understanding of what was known changes.
