Here’s what to know before you go:

📍 Brampton’s Pride celebration runs from 9 am to 1 pm in Garden Square.

🛍️ The Brampton Farmers’ Market will be running nearby, giving visitors a chance to enjoy local vendors and Pride programming in one downtown trip.

🎧 Pride programming includes live music by DJ Chissmiss Cherry, drag performances curated by Equal Peel, activities, giveaways, face painting and photo opportunities.

🤝 Community booths will feature local organizations and City services supporting Brampton’s 2SLGBTQIA+ community and allies.

Applications are open to join the City of Brampton’s Artist Roster. This is a great opportunity for the chance to be selected for City-led public art projects that transform and revitalize communities across #Brampton. 💙

National Indigenous Peoples Day is recognized annually on June 21 as a time to celebrate and honour the cultures, voices, histories and contributions of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples across Canada. 🧡

The date was chosen in recognition of the summer solstice, which holds cultural and spiritual significance for many Indigenous communities.

As part of its ongoing reconciliation journey, the City of Brampton continues to advance initiatives that strengthen relationships with Indigenous communities and embed Indigenous awareness across the organization.

Residents are invited to continue learning at Brampton’s National Indigenous Peoples Day celebration on June 20 in Garden Square during the #BramptonFarmersMarket.

The free event will feature Indigenous-owned vendors, community information booths and music from DJ 5rivers, offering opportunities to explore, connect and learn more about Indigenous cultures and traditions.
