Are there any #Mturk requesters using the #API that can help us get a successful 200 URL response for GetAccountBalance using #AWS Signature 4? All we get is 403 "unable to determine service". No AWS support and API manual for Mturk missing authentication info.

@amazonmturk No this didn't help. Mturk is often an outlier to many of the other AWS services, in many cases not even mentioned in the docs. That's often the issue.

@xSnowyFields @amazonmturk It completely depends on how many HITS you post. Lately we post about 250 per month at $2.80 each. So then yes 10 rejects is 4%. Again, we can't even see our score without work but can say for sure that the # of new Workers has fallen off a cliff in past 9 months.

So now we block and reject which of course lowers our Acceptance % which is why we keep saying that is an unbelievably misleading stat and should be removed. How about how much $$ we've paid over the past months? #Mturk @amazonmturk 2/2

@mturkdata @asalvadorp @amazonmturk No we shouldn't have to police platform agree. Other gig sites prov addl info. Give us worker: # HITs, # blocks, partial pay?. We may not reject or block if see may be honest error (we never block for that and rarely reject). Send worker a msg easier also.

@amazonmturk can you guys spend some time giving the REQUESTERS opportunities to flag and share feedback on the WORKERS at some point?? The amt of scammers we get is off the chart and all I get is negative % for rejecting their work. We are trying to give opp to non qual wrkers.

@mturkdata @asalvadorp @amazonmturk Did that many times. Weve done min of 50k HITS over yrs. Lots of work on requesters part having to circle back around and essentially pay again. Many workers are leery of this. Dont trust will pay a bonus. We also pay Mturk higher % for bonus pmts. Does allow for partial pmt tho.

@asalvadorp @amazonmturk Also blocks only help after the fact. We have to find, reject then decide to block. BTW when we do that our accept % goes DOWN. We look worse bc scammers tried our HITs!What? Req also cannot see their own accept %. Hv to create worker acct and view our own HIT.

@amazonmturk You show requester reject % to workers which I've said is a junk stat. Same reason Yelp and others had to change that. MUCH too simplistic. We pay a lot of each HIT = more spammers = higher reject. We want to know B4 they do our HIT. A support case is not helpful.

@asalvadorp @amazonmturk They do now. Workers can see requesters reject %. 1st the requesters can't even see their own stats w/o creating a worker acct. 2nd req dont see stats on workers. Can only set quals. Req should be able to flag workers for other req. I'm sure also crap req.

One of our daily examples of scam workers on #Mturk is A36GTTPW17HUL1. Submitted essentially nothing yest. Prob does this for dozens or hundreds of Requesters hoping a few dont get caught. Prob been doing this a long time but we want to give new workers a chance. 1/2

Get form email from @amazonmturk worker expl how rejects affect his rating and link how to overturn. Obv done this b4 so we should be able to see WORKER stats in adv also. BTW now our stats go down bc of this fraud worker who we obv blocked.
