1/2: #NRCQuantum’s Dr. Guillaume Thekkadath and his colleagues, with the help of their theoretical collaborators at @polymtl, discovered a delay between entangled photons in their most recent paper in @PhysRevLett. https://t.co/odjqCrMha4
🚨🚨 New work with @NRC_CNRC on high-gain SPDC. https://t.co/9TCefzwlbj
We investigate a gain-induced group delay in SPDC, which is an elegant manifestation of so-called time-ordering corrections in the joint spectral amp. of the squeezed light generated by a pump on a crystal.
#NRCQuantum scientists demonstrated a new vibration-resilient holography technique in the apparatus that can be used to generate #holograms of self-luminous objects. Their paper is published in the July issue of @ScienceAdvances. https://t.co/vskyKY83qo @NSERC_CRSNG
Yesterday I had the pleasure to visit the @polyquantique and @femtoQ groups at Polytechnique Montreal. They're doing exciting work in quantum optics. Thanks for the invite Nico and @RQMP6. Here's a video of my seminar https://t.co/gyaS3yCc3n
I really enjoyed attending the #CQIQCIX conference. My talk is available online: https://t.co/fEdyH828lK Skip to 23:53 to see very recent quantum imaging results
A crucial step for building a Gaussian boson sampling machine is demonstrated: A squeezed state is displaced in phase-space and the sampling complexity is fully investigated. @GThekkadath@Ssempere1@Imp_Prov@ImperialPhysics

A new paper! You might already know how to measure the joint spectral amplitude (JSA) of your photon pair source. But with the help of an attenuated laser, you can measure their joint spectral phase too! https://t.co/wvDsC3Atx8
@LundeenOttawa Good point. What about the wikipedia definition: "The mode of electromagnetic radiation describes the field pattern of the propagating waves". By this definition, we get rid of static and evanescent fields
@LundeenOttawa@QuantumAephraim I'm guessing you already know about variable fiber beam splitters like this one: https://t.co/F94y2AIoOj The interferometer is in the blackbox. I used one of these during my PhD.
Just finished presenting our recent work using photon counting for quantum state engineering and interferometery: https://t.co/mDiAyzVlZS Thanks to the University of Warsaw for hosting. Hope I can visit @StobinskaQCAT and all the other great research groups in Warsaw soon.
Guillaume Thekkadath from the Walmsley group (@Imp_Prov) gives our online group seminar on his work on quantum photonics with superconducting transition-edge sensors. Great work Guillaume, congratulations completing your PhD, and many thanks for joining us!
Our paper "Quantum-enhanced interferometry with large heralded photon-number states" is published in @Nature_NPJ#Quantum Information with Guillaume Thekkadath and Monika Mycroft as the first authors. Congrats! https://t.co/d13dxGaf9Z @UniWarszawski@FNP_org_pl@OxfordPhysics
