Minnesota election judge who let 11 unregistered voters cast ballots in the November 2024 general election will serve 30 days in jail

According to court documents he couldn’t locate the voter registration forms at the polling place. Instead of following proper procedures he had the voters sign a list

He faced felony charges for accepting votes from unregistered voters and neglect of duty by an election official. He pleaded guilty in to one count of accepting the vote of an unregistered voter
