Collaboration continues to be a key driver in improving service delivery across our client sites. We recently delivered the RUK Service Excellence Programme in Manchester, bringing together colleagues from both locations for an engaging and insightful session.
This week is Mental Health Awareness Week, led by the Mental Health Foundation.
At GUK, we know that looking after mental health is important all year round. Alongside mental health awareness training, our team also has access to an EAP phone line and other wellbeing support.
We are incredibly proud of Jon Guerriero, security manager at the Liberty Shopping Centre, who was awarded a Police Commendation for Bravery, and Certificate of Commendation from the Royal Humane Society. These honours recognise Jon’s bravery during a life-threatening incident.
We were proud to join our client Cushman & Wakefield at the Radical Careers Fair Pilot last week. We’re committed to creating pathways into employment for all. A huge thank you to the team for creating such a well-structured event, and to everyone who attended.
We’re proud to recognise February's Employee of the Month, Devin Desbonnes. Devin noticed an elderly man on site, and approached the gentleman - finding him cold, disoriented, and in need of assistance. Devin’s quick thinking and professionalism safeguarded the individual.
There’s a talented local Under-7 boys football team who train twice a week and play matches every weekend. We are really proud to have sponsored their away kit with t-shirts and jackets, supporting young athletes and the local community.#GivingBack

Our Employee of the Month for January 2026 is Michael, who is recognised for his proactive approach in assisting the police in apprehending individuals responsible for a criminal act on site. Michael has also been awarded the GUK COO Exceptional Service Award for his actions.
