This week is Mental Health Awareness Week, led by the Mental Health Foundation.
At GUK, we know that looking after mental health is important all year round. Alongside mental health awareness training, our team also has access to an EAP phone line and other wellbeing support.
We’re proud to recognise February's Employee of the Month, Devin Desbonnes. Devin noticed an elderly man on site, and approached the gentleman - finding him cold, disoriented, and in need of assistance. Devin’s quick thinking and professionalism safeguarded the individual.
On of our site teams have been hard at work creating little moments of joy for tenants and visitors. From delicious Choc Pot samples to vegetable, herb, and flower seeds for National Gardening Week, it’s all about adding those extra touches that make a difference.
Last week, we spread some joy with delicious Costa Coffee treats across our sites! A little pick-me-up for our staff, tenants, and visitors to keep energy levels high. Treats like these are just one way we show our commitment to exceptional customer service. #CostaCoffee

Our Employee of the Month for January 2026 is Michael, who is recognised for his proactive approach in assisting the police in apprehending individuals responsible for a criminal act on site. Michael has also been awarded the GUK COO Exceptional Service Award for his actions.

As we close another remarkable year, we want to take a moment to acknowledge the dedication, talent, and hard work that have defined our organisation in 2025. This year has been marked by significant achievements and progress, all made possible by the commitment of our team.
This week we celebrated Save the Children Jumper Day, with colleagues donning their festive knits, and HR Administration Assistant, Saklayen, making delicious matcha drinks.
Our team also came together to support Mission Christmas, generously donating gifts and toys for children.
We were very excited to welcome the @guidedogs to one of our sites recently. Their team set up a fundraising stall and, thanks to everyone’s generosity, raised over £800 for the charity!
But the real stars of the day were the trained guide dogs who visited with their handlers.
