@moeltemamy @RossKrasnow @RoboDocX Not necessarily, I’ve also experienced persistent arterial bleeding from the hilar stump after stapling a previously embolized renal artery. I think the coils prevent the staples from completely sealing the artery and safer to oversew the stump.

@RoboDocX I’m usually not too stressed about bleeding during a partial. I typically have a 3-0 barbed suture for the inner layer renorrhaphy ready inside the body. If I can’t stop a vessel from bleeding during tumor resection with either bipolar or weck clip I’ll suture ligate it.
