Who are we at SGE? What do we do? How does our business model work? And why do we believe the #BWRX300 is the right SMR technology choice for Europe? Our Chief Business Development Officer, Robert Rudich, addressed these questions during the “Addressing Investment Costs and Risk” panel at the regional Deploy #SMR Workshop focused on financing, hosted this week in Warsaw by the @CommerceGov.
As Robert said, we believe in this technology, so we have “put our money where our mouth is.” SGE, together with @gvhnuclear , @opg , and @TVAnews, has invested in the development of the #BWRX300, and we are now building a European fleet deployment platform around it.
Watch the video to hear Robert explain how SGE combines proven technology, private capital, government cooperation, and a fleet-based approach to deploy BWRX-300 #SMRs across Europe.

The foundation for the first small modular reactor being built in the Western World has been installed at the @opg Darlington New Nuclear Project site. This marks a significant milestone in the construction of the BWRX-300 reactor building.
This is what real looks like.
Last week, we lowered the close to 2,100,000-pound Basemat into place — the foundation for the G7's first Small Modular Reactor and Canada's first new nuclear build in more than 30 years.
One of the largest crawler cranes in the world lowered the Basemat module into the reactor shaft at the Darlington New Nuclear Project site — 35 metres below ground. It’s the first time in Canada a foundation for a reactor building was assembled modularly – putting the “M” in SMR – as the giant component was fabricated, welded, and put together in one piece before being lifted into place.
This was a milestone months in the making, requiring significant attention to detail and safety, as well as the hard work of dedicated trades and project partners.
Piece by piece, we're continuing to build one of the largest and most complex clean energy projects in Canada today. Learn more: https://t.co/bOJhhWLBlg
Today at #CNA2026 GVH Canada Leader Lisa McBride will moderate a discussion “Energy Leadership: Ministerial Perspectives on the Nuclear Buildout.” The panel will include ministers from Ontario, New Brunswick and Alberta as well as the VP of nuclear development for SaskPower.

As part of an agreement announced today Global Nuclear Fuel will provide @SGE_Nuclear with fuel engineering and technical support to advance the BWRX-300 in Europe.
SGE signed nuclear fuel cooperation agreements with Spanish companies @enusa_sa and #GENUSA to support #BWRX300 deployment across Europe!
Under the agreement with #ENUSA, SGE will work on developing a roadmap toward a fuel material procurement model, including strategic, technical, and commercial cooperation regarding the procurement of low enriched uranium in the form of UF6, its components, and delivery to the manufacturing or re-conversion plant.
Under the agreement with GENUSA, SGE will receive consultancy, training, and engineering support related to organizational and technical aspects of nuclear fuel supply, as well as manufactured nuclear fuel and related engineering services.
The two agreements are an important step in expanding the European supply chain around the BWRX-300 and reinforcing the industrial foundations needed for fleet deployment. They also leverage the established operating track record of GNF2, the proven nuclear fuel design, which has been licensed and used in Europe for nearly two decades. For SGE, fuel readiness is a critical part of building BWRX-300 fleet deployment platform.
By expanding cooperation in nuclear fuel-related areas with ENUSA and GENUSA, SGE is reinforcing the broader ecosystem required for fleet-based delivery in Central and wider Europe, combining proven technology with the partnerships needed to support long-term project execution.

W Waszyngtonie podpisaliśmy z @gvhnuclear najważniejszą dla nas dotąd umowę dotyczącą rozwoju polskiego projektu BWRX‑300.
The Poland Generic Design (PGDA) to początek pracy nad szczegółowym, generycznym projektem BWRX‑300.
