@Angry_Staffer Here’s the gist of it: Thomas Malone, along with his colleagues at the MIT Center for Collective Intelligence, proposes that crowdsourcing information can often be more reliable than traditional polling methods. Their theory rests on the idea that large groups of people 1/2
@Angry_Staffer I think this is the sliver of truth behind this. I took a course from MIT and a segment taught by the founder of the MIT Center for Collective Intelligence, Thomas Malone. It’s pretty fascinating, and betting markets are discussed.

@MarkHertling McDonald’s, garlic picking, sorting peaches at a peach cannery in Northern California. All jobs I did to pay for my college education, none of these were ever on my post college resume. You can learn a lot from any job if you take it seriously.
@Limeylizzie I love all of those things, both lists. The only thing I really dislike is cilantro. And that’s because it tastes different to me than most people
@Limeylizzie You know, she did expose Anthony Blunt who was part of the Cambridge 5. He was still working for the Royal family who had protected him for aristocratic reasons. Other than that, she sucked.

@peopleareatrip1 I literally have a cat distribution system clause in my prenup. It’s right after the zero dealing with tolerance section for flying stinging insects and really fast spiders. I can’t believe you got a void. So UNFAIR!!
Without knowing your personal relationship, I think they may have been doing this to protect her/themselves if something untoward happened. I feel like this kind of thing may have been part of a lawsuit that I’ve seen out there. No offense to you, or am I pro-HR, but they are 100% trying to avoid lawsuits most of the time
@Uber And if you don’t select one of these premium services that cost more, you get what you get. In my experience that = smelly cars, smelly drivers, no AC so you have to roll the windows down to get through the ride.
