California will be hit by four significant storms over the next week, bringing widespread heavy rain and 2–5+ feet of snow to the Sierra Nevada.

Expect 4–8 inches of rain across Northern California and 2–4 inches across Central and much of Southern California, with up to 15–20+ inches possible along the western slopes of the Northern Sierra.

Flood Watches have already been issued for the entire Sacramento Valley and the western slopes of the Northern Sierra.

Charlie Kirk was killed for exercising the most fundamental American rights: to assemble, to speak freely, and to share his faith. He began as a teenager with a small voice and, over time, that voice grew into the voice of a generation. Charlie created a space for debate, and for that, he lost his life.

His death did not happen in isolation. Moments like this warn us we are heading in the wrong direction — and they change history.

On the eve of the 9/11 anniversary, I can’t help but reflect: once again, though in a different way, this was an attack on freedom.

Thousands witnessed it in person on a college campus. Millions will see it online. And now, this moment of 9/10 will stand as its own marker in history — when an entire nation saw the image of a man struck down while doing what he had done a thousand times before. He was daring to speak freely, encouraging debate, and peacefully reaching those who saw the world differently.

After 9/11, Americans came together despite our divisions. We must search for that spirit again. This violence must end. It must stop. What we witnessed was evil. And it reminds us that every threat must be taken seriously. I hope today is a turning point.
