We are proud to announce the launch of an industrial partnership with Generative Bionics, an Italian company focused on the development of autonomous humanoid robots. This collaboration aims to implement a humanoid welding robot designed to operate alongside humans in our shipyards.
As an initial area of collaboration, the project involves the development of a humanoid robot designed to support specific welding activities in naval manufacturing. The humanoid system — equipped with artificial intelligence as well as advanced manipulation, perception, and vision capabilities dedicated to monitoring the welding seam, along with optimized locomotion to operate in complex environments — will prioritize safety, allowing collaboration with workers while fully complying with regulations and without limiting work areas.
This collaboration, which is expected to span a total of four years and is part of our Group’s broader strategy in advanced robotics and innovation — one of the pillars of the Group’s new Industrial Plan — confirms our commitment to developing cutting-edge solutions for a more innovative world of work and future.

The initiative follows a clear industrial #roadmap, with on-site testing planned by the end of 2026 and progressive deployment over the following years, starting with welding activities in naval prefabrication.
