As I look around the internet and find people who have excelled in their vocation; I feel senses of awe, belittlement, and inspiration all at the same time. So many great people out there.
Recently I released the Near Miss Record - New York City - https://t.co/Lb2uEGRLXb - an interactive map that collects and distributes comments on near miss traffic incidents.

I created a Python library for extracting large OSM datasets from PBF files. It includes bicycle facilities standardized on both sides of the road and the minimum and maximum protection offered to riders on each segment. https://t.co/iOomVK8pBq
A new major release of r5r v1.0.0 is now on CRAN π #r5rstats. This version has many new goodies for those doing routing and accessibility analysis in multimodal transport networks in #rstats. Full changelog: https://t.co/JhjlHgYXzg

Just released v2 of TinySDF, my ~1.2kb browser-side SDF font generator (useful for rendering crisp scalable text in WebGL) β now faster, with nicer API and ESM-only entry point https://t.co/oIQQ4mpEAX
Just released the Safer Streets Priority Finder Tool, which enables practitioners to analyze risk to vulnerable road users by building dashboards, PDFs, crash density analyses, and risk estimates with local data. Would love your feedback! #R#RStudio#OSM

New version of r5r v0.4.0 has landed on CRAN https://t.co/GRAadaLlHc
This update of #r5rstats:
- Uses the latest R5 v6.2
- Allows accounting for cycling comfort given a max Level of Traffic Stress. This makes a big difference on the route one takes and how far/safe one can go
It's been a while, but I just posted a new How-To on measuring road network centrality (and what that means) among #bikeshare trips in #WashingtonDC using #pgRouting, #PostGIS, and #PostgreSQL! Let me know what you think!

@PetersonGIS Just set osm2pgrouting and successfully imported a small .osm test dataset from https://t.co/u0lXoeyEMa into a postgresql db linked to QGIS. So few steps, and was fast and easy πͺπͺππ currently letting the magic run on a much larger dataset, so we'll see how that works!! π€π€
