ActionSA Johannesburg has launched a dedicated hotline for South Africans to report RDP houses that are allegedly being unlawfully occupied by foreign nationals.

#sapsFS [NINE UNDOCUMENTED FOREIGN NATIONALS ARRESTED AT REITZ FARM FACTORY]

The #SAPS Thabo Mofutsanyana District Operational Command Centre received information regarding a group of foreign nationals allegedly working at a farm factory manufacturing biscuits in Reitz.

Police acted swiftly on the information and conducted an operation at the premises, which resulted in the arrest of nine undocumented foreign nationals. All nine suspects were arrested and detained while the necessary immigration and administrative processes are being finalised.

The local municipality has been engaged regarding the matter, and it is expected that the factory will be closed pending further investigations. Additional steps are also expected to be taken against the owner for alleged non-compliance with applicable legislation.
