@clairerendall1 How many would you like? As under Red X I'm pretty sure there haven't been any.
This is purely an informational sign. Red X is enforced. Would you prefer time to the next junction as that's often displayed too. Or closures ahead towards London again often displayed
Please check your vehicles before travelling. Especially this time of year everyone really does want you to reach your destination and enjoy your festivities.
Don't run risks.
@SomewhereOnAMwy @joffster1234lee @MC_HighwaysEng I don't drive HGVs no.
The law still applies to you if youβre:
stopped at traffic lights, queuing in traffic...
If parked up safely a tachograph is on rest? If you're stuck on the motorway, you're in traffic, when in traffic it's an offence to use your phone.
When a car appears behind you and makes their presence known, whilst you are sat in lane 4 of 4. It's probably not wise to brake check them.
Especially when said vehicle is battenburg with flashing lights
Tonight's episode of do or don't.
Don't enter a motorway towing another vehicle, especially when you are using 'equipment*' not designed for towing.

It's cold it's foggy. Once again I'll ask people to pay attention and drive to the conditions presented in front of themselves.
Rather than the complacency that I know will be there.
Putting your number plates on your mates car that you have borrowed because he does not have insurance or MOT was not a wise idea - especially because your insurance was cancelled - #1InCustody for drug drive, possession of drugs and various other RTA offences #NoExcuse#Fatal5
Report of erractic driving on M6 led to a sports car behind stopped in St Michaels on Wyre. Driver was arrested for falling a field impairment test and a drug wipe. This was the drivers second arrest in 2 days for similar offences. #T2TacOps#DontDrugDrive
It's foggy turn your lights on. Not DRL but actual lights.
You MUST NOT use front or rear fog lights unless visibility is seriously reduced (see Rule 226) as they dazzle other road users and can obscure your brake lights. You MUST switch them off when visibility improves.
It's this time of year I see more people driving with poor visibility, demist your windscreen and windows completely before travelling please. You must have a full view of the road ahead.
If you drive towards people working on the roads, be prepared to receive a letter asking you for money.
Also hand your driving license in, you are not fit to be behind the wheel of a motor vehicle.
STAY OUT OF RED X LANES
@ASPolice@policeconduct Hope that all involved find this is conducted in a safe fair and timely manner. And the officer(s) can be stood back up, to continue with their volunteer role
