Those promises all true. Once ACA was available in 2014, the costly disaster happened. The gov't never were paid back by the people who underestimated their income (or changed jobs) and received higher gov't subsidies. The gov't failed to pay the insurance companies as promised. The low income families could afford the low monthly premiums but could not afford the high deductibles. Many insurance companies withdrew from ACA program within 5 years. I was on ACA for 7 years and saw its deterioration. ACA did not meet the main goal of aiding low income families.

It's time to find another solution for those (less than 20 million) who TRULY need a temporary helping hand. Secretary Scott Turner (HUD) may have insight as he sees those in need.
