​प्रक्रिया के दौरान अनिल अंबानी समूह की कंपनियों को समय-समय पर समाधान योजनाएं प्रस्तुत करने, व्यक्तिगत गारंटियों पर अंतरिम रोक और संशोधन के अवसर मिले।

आलोचकों का तर्क था कि कड़े कदम उठाने के बजाय ट्रिब्यूनल ने बार-बार समय सीमा बढ़ाई, जिससे Promoters को कानूनी संरक्षण मिला रहा।

मध्य प्रदेश के रीवा के गांधी मेमोरियल अस्पताल में पहली डिलीवरी के दौरान जच्चा-बच्चा की मौत हो गई.

ये 25 वर्षीय कल्पना मिश्रा की मौत से पहले का एक वीडियो है, जिसमें वह मदद मांग रही है. महिला कह रही है कि इस तरह का इलाज जारी रहा तो ये लोग मुझे मार डालेंगे और फिर मदद मांगने के कुछ घंटे बाद ही प्रसव के दौरान महिला की मौत हो जाती है.

कल्पना अपने पिता की इकलौती बेटी थी. उसके पिता ने 15 लाख रुपए की जमीन बेच कर उसकी शादी करवाई थी. काश, कि कल्पना के पिता और ससुर ने 5 लाख की ज़मीन और बेच दी होती और लेकर चले जाते उसे उस अस्पताल जहां मंत्री और अफसरों के घर की महिलाओं का प्रसव होता है. न तो रीवा के सरकारी अस्पताल पहुंचते और न अपनी बेटी खोते!

इधर इलाज में लापरवाही बरतने पर नर्सिंग स्टाफ साधना वर्मा और सीमा मुजालदे को सस्पेंड किया गया है. लेकिन परिजन ड्यूटी डॉक्टर सोनल अग्रवाल को भी निलंबित करने की मांग कर रहे हैं. अस्पताल अधीक्षक डॉ. राहुल मिश्रा के मुताबिक महिला का इलाज चिकित्सकीय प्रोटोकॉल के अनुसार किया गया था और डॉक्टरों की ओर से किसी तरह की लापरवाही नहीं हुई. माने अस्पताल अधीक्षक ने जांच से पहले ही कह दिया कि कुछ गड़बड़ नहीं है.

सब कुर्सी बचाने में लगे हुए हैं, अब आगे इस मामले में कितनी गंभीरता से जांच होगी, इसका अंदाजा लगा लीजिए. बाकी, जहां की ये घटना है वो स्वास्थ्य मंत्री राजेन्द्र शुक्ल का राजनैतिक इलाका है. साहब प्रदेश के उपमुख्यमंत्री भी हैं. लेकिन उनसे प्रदेश की स्वास्थ्य व्यवस्था और अस्पताल की बदहाली पर कुछ पूछ लीजिए, जवाब मिल जाए कभी तो यहां कमेंट में लिखते जाइयेगा.

An 82 year old pensioner received a letter from SBI "Please repay ₹14.5 lakh."

My cousin’s grandfather worked for the Indian Railways and retired in 2005.

Since then, his pension has been credited to his bank account every month.

But now, after nearly 11 years,
SBI has informed the family that there was an error in the pension calculation

and the bank allegedly overpaid him by around ₹14.5 lakh over the years.

Now the family has been asked

"Please deposit ₹14.5 lakh back, otherwise recovery may be made along with interest."

The most worrying part ?

He is 82 years old and bedridden.

And the family simply does not have ₹14.5 lakh available to repay.

Think about it

A pensioner spends his retirement years trusting that the pension credited to his account has been correctly calculated by the bank.

Then, 11 years later, he is suddenly told that millions of rupees were overpaid and must now be returned.

The question here is not just about ₹14.5 lakh.

If the pension was being calculated and credited by the bank,
and the error went unnoticed for years,

is it fair to put the entire financial burden of that mistake on an 82 year old pensioner ?

The family should not panic or make any payment without first getting the recovery notice,

pension calculations and payment records properly reviewed, along with qualified legal advice.

Because when a bank’s mistake comes to light after 11 years, the cost is not always just financial,

sometimes, it costs an elderly person the peace they spent their entire life earning.

Life is good. The climate is great for most of the year.

For comparison: 12.3% of those from all other countries have been accused of a crime.

Only 0.6% of Swiss nationals have been accused of a crime.

You would think that these North Africans would be deported.

Ah no…not quite.

Because 90% of them arrive without papers it is illegal to deport them anywhere.

Some hang around in Switzerland but many go on to countries (like the UK) where they can get accommodation, money, phones.

This is how schools harass teachers. This incident is from New Public School, Chandigarh.

I worked there as a teacher, but due to a medical emergency, I had to leave the job. Despite this, the school refused to pay my pending salary and even withheld my security deposit. They then demanded an additional ₹10,000, claiming it was a “school rule,” just to issue my experience letter and return my documents.

Later, I paid ₹5,000 in the hope of resolving the matter, but they still refused to give me my documents, experience letter, or pending salary.

This is nothing short of mental harassment and exploitation of an employee. I urge the concerned authorities to investigate this matter and ensure that no teacher has to face such treatment. #Chandigarh
