@gguworld Wow Peter Criss is by far the best singer in the band. It wouldn’t have hurt to have him sing their more popular songs but they probably weren’t going to let that happen. Jeez that’s the year I was born😅
@rocknrollofall These guys. My band did a show with them once and they were awesome. They should had released this song as a single first(they were on Interscope) . https://t.co/TkaO3SRGT1
Wow Sabo Hill Lacuna is an amazing sounding plugin. It lights up my busses like nothing before. Not exactly cheap, the intro price is $109 but I felt it made my busses come alive like nothing I’ve heard. https://t.co/kezk2bZYAv
@SterlingCooley@AndrewG29922648 Hmm. Why are all the upper casing stones still intact on the shorter pyramid but completely gone from the taller one? Can you explain that? If the waves were level I’d think we’d see a large amount of casing stones on the great pyramid, no?
@DanielMarkham@FarmerGuyDan It sounds exactly like the album. Both clean and distorted. There’s really no knobs to control much, just switches so it nails the sound perfectly.
@DanielMarkham@FarmerGuyDan It sounds exactly like Hysteria. I don’t know about the new ones, but this one is just spot on. It’s kind of fun to play the songs through it. They only use one other amp for one guitar solo and it was that GK.
That’s a tough one! Probably my favorite is the Marshall 4203 Artist I got as a teen around 1990. I’ve slowly been recapping and restoring it as I wore it to death. I have 4 in front of my face in the living room and a couple more in the studio. The 80s GK 250ML is pretty insane though a cabinet. I have the entire Def Leppard Hysteria collection with the 80s Rockman and that amp😅.
@SterlingCooley@EthicalSkeptic I can accept this theory but if the great pyramid is much taller, why don’t we see the same features on it? It should be REALLY obvious on the great pyramid yet it isn’t. It’s stripped to the top meaning that the Kafre pyramid should have been totally submerged 🤔
Yeah I have a couple I inherited from my uncle after he passed and one was the Ibanez and an EVH era Kramer Baretta with the round hockey stick headstock. I’ve done as much TLC to the Kramer in my abilities but it seems to have developed 1 high fret and I don’t think that’s the guitar to practice fretwork on😅. I don’t think hauling these from the upper Midwest in October to a still baking hot Texas was the best idea but it was the only one.
Oh I totally get it. Maintaining vintage guitars and finding parts is a form of self flagellation😅. My 1979 Iceman bridge was toast and I went through hell and back to find a fully functioning and good condition Gibraltar 1 bridge assembly. Finally found one located in London that set me back almost $450. It’s crazy but that guitar has enormous sentimental value to me.
Yeah I really only go there for repairs because I have quite a few vintage guitars and if he’s dealing with those types of guitars regularly I totally trust him. Prices are reasonable but for example I had to wait 6 weeks for a bridge plate replacement on a super rare 1980 Guild D25 in black. It’s the same guitar Duff is playing in the GnR Patience video. Im debating getting a refret on a 1979 Ibanez Iceman.
