🚨BREAKING: iShowSpeed reveals what really happened to his Cairo IRL stream in Egypt — and why it was taken down — while speaking during his Sahara stream in Algeria.

Towards the end of the Egypt stream, Speed rented a private boat and checked in advance whether the music being played would cause any copyright issues. After being reassured there would be no problems, the stream went ahead as planned.

Once the stream ended, Speed discovered that one of the Egyptian artists had copyright-claimed the entire VOD, attempting to take all ad revenue from the broadcast. What the artist didn’t realise is that YouTube allows creators to remove or replace copyrighted sections.

Speed removed the claimed audio, replaced it with copyright-free YouTube music, and re-uploaded the VOD. As a result, the final minutes of the Cairo stream now feature random stock music while Speed’s original audio is muted — after the attempted revenue grab failed.
