Proud is an understatement. 💙📚

Our team posted the highest Team GPA among all Xavier teams during the fall 2023 semester.

[Coach AJ 🎯 Mental Fitness @coachajkings]

Pat Summitt said, “Winning is fun... Sure. But winning is not the point. Wanting to win is the point. Not giving up is the point. Never letting up is the point. Never being satisfied with what you've done is the point."

Your character is what you do.

Success isn't just the end result, it's the journey of getting there and striving to be better every day.

Good character is doing the right thing.
✅It is your decisions.
✅It is your actions.
✅It is living your life with integrity, responsibility, and self-discipline.

Pat Summitt said, "Success is a project that is always under construction."

In 1987, she won her 1st of 8 National Championships after coaching for 13 years, but her players remember the relationships more than the games.

Candace Parker said, "I sometimes did not understand her logic, but now that I am out in the real world, I see that there was a method to her madness. Everything she did was to make me a better individual."

Kara Lawson said, "She had a deep personal influence on everyone she touched. She was more than a coach, she was a life changer."

Pat Summitt' called it her Definite Dozen: 12 Rules for Success in Life
1. Respect Yourself and Others
2. Take Full Responsibility
3. Develop and Demonstrate Loyalty
4. Learn to Be a Great Communicator
5. Discipline Yourself So No One Else Has To
6. Make Hard Work Your Passion
7. Don’t Just Work Hard, Work Smart
8. Put the Team Before Yourself
9. Make Winning an Attitude
10. Be a Competitor
11. Change Is a Must
12. Handle Success Like You Handle Failure

These principles are not merely guidelines for success, they serve as the foundation for becoming a person of integrity and character.
✅They are values to live by.
✅They are standards to live up to.
✅They are actions and decisions to take.

You are not defined by your victories or defeats, but by your attitude and character in the face of adversity.

"Attitude is a choice. What you think you can do, whether positive or negative, confident or scared, will most likely happen." - Pat Summitt
