Forthcoming in the JEL: "Difference-in-Differences Designs: A Practitioner’s Guide" by Andrew Baker, Brantly Callaway, Scott Cunningham, Andrew Goodman-Bacon, and Pedro H. C. Sant'Anna. https://t.co/usGVoaPfkx
Preparing my Applied Econometrics course using @GaborBekes great textbook https://t.co/5wOv3M9XA1. Added a nerdy exercise to the application of Random Forrest to predicting Airbnb prices. OLS beats Random Forrest when predicting outside a spatial window used for training since it can extrapolate! Already looking forward to teaching it!
Getting ready for next week's @f_l_o_u_r_i_s_h training with the 'Workshops for Ukraine' group and had to change the color palette of my slides.

Neat statistics lecture notes to introduce you to causal inference: from randomized controlled trials (RCTs) to adaptive experiments. https://t.co/KxKDL80F8Y
Hi #EconTwitter! 📈
Looking for some excellent graduate #econometrics lecture notes?
Check out 👇 the material from Michal Kolesar's (@princeton) "Advanced Applied Econometrics" course.
It covers a lot of important topics, with an emphasis on inference (including the bootstrap!) 📚
Highly recommended! ⭐️

The https://t.co/WuSq70qSOW #julialang package is out in beta. Apparently there is a hard core of #econtwitter which cannot say goodbye to STATA syntax. 🤷♂️ @korenmiklos & team are rewriting it as julia macros. This is quite the table! 👇
Really nice companion to me (or other metrics books)
