Revitalization through reinterpretation - Manly P Hall

I vibe-coded for a bit.

(There’s no such profession as software developer anymore. RIP 🪦)

Grok Build put this megalithic database together for me in about 3 hours. During those 3 hours, I was doing other stuff — I only had to give it new input roughly every 20 minutes.

But that’s not even the point!

We now have a worldwide megalithic catalog, and it’s not even empty! Sure, your favorite site probably isn’t in it yet, but that’s exactly the point: you can add to it.

Anyone up for the challenge?

I even programmed Grok itself into it, so adding a site is basically just a matter of describing what you think is missing from the database. Grok will search for it (if it can find it) and add it.

If you’re interested, DM me and I’ll give you access.

Amazing result!

Here’s a troubling coincidence. In 2021 I wrote for @unherd about the danger solar storms pose to civilization. As a highly unusual cluster of 6 Coronal Mass Ejections hurtle toward Earth—due to hit us the 11-12th—I was caused to reread my essay…

Ep 1 of my Netflix series Ancient Apocalypse showcases Indonesia's Gunung Padang, possibly the world's oldest pyramidal structure, & honors the work of indigenous geologist Danny Hilman Natawidjaja. The archaeo-mafia were furious. But now... vindication:

Zoroastrianism, Hinduism, and Buddhism were the predominant religions in Afghanistan before Islam became the dominant faith following the Arab invasion of the region in the 7th century. Afghanistan’s pre-Islamic history needs further in-depth research.

Skin cancer rates are up almost 5x over the last 50 years, while the experts told us to avoid the sun more and load up on sunscreens.

Now it's coming out that many of the most popular sunscreens are loaded with carcinogens.

There's clearly something we're not being told.
