If you bring forth what is w/i you, what you bring forth will save you. If you do not bring forth what is w/i you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you.
After 16 years, an EU summit was held without Viktor Orbán. And an oft-stated lie was immediately exposed.
For years, before and after EU summits, the European press was blaming Viktor Orbán for allegedly preventing EU unity, vetoing, and therefore failing to form a common EU position on the Russia-Ukraine war: whether it was about arms deliveries, approving another aid package for Ukraine worth tens of billions of euros, yet another sanctions package or something else.
Politico is now writing about the leaders clashing with unusual vehemence, because the European Council President's chief of staff contacted Moscow to explore the possibility of negotiations. This has become urgent again, because after the Iran deal, the US's attention is once again turning to the war in Ukraine, and the Europeans do not want the American side to leave them out of the negotiations. 🤷
Heads of governments fell out because:
- they could not decide whether it was permissible to negotiate with Russia,
- or if so, who should do so (the President of the European Council or the leaders of the large member states),
- what the role of the EU should be,
- but some were even offended by why 3 countries negotiated with Zelensky separately right before the summit and why the others were left out.
In practice, this is what "European unity" looks like if Viktor Orbán is not there. Instead of unity, all the differences surfaced, which were previously conveniently denied by making PM Orbán the scapegoat. In this issue and others. It was easier to blame Orbán than to find real solutions to complex strategic issues.
Thanks to the participation of Péter Magyar, however, an obstacle was indeed removed in the case of Ukraine. The first cluster of Ukraine's EU accession negotiations was unblocked so Ukraine is now officially negotiating EU membership. Not that it would bring peace any closer.
My name is Zsolt Bede. I am a journalist, influencer, and patriotic activist who supports Orbán and Fidesz.
A week ago, eight investigators showed up at the home of my 75-year-old father. They said nothing, provided no contact information, and simply appeared there to intimidate him.
A week passed without any further contact, and then they suddenly descended on my apartment.
They did not present any documents and did not explain what they were looking for. I was not informed of the allegations against me. To this day, I have not been provided with any of the official case documents.
They conducted a search of my home while my 16-year-old son was with me. They traumatized him as well. I was not allowed to call my lawyer, and my son was not allowed to speak with his mother. Moreover, he was not permitted to leave for an important international scout football event he was supposed to attend. He was unlawfully detained.
The authorities seized my phones and laptop, and then they confiscated my son's devices as well. He has absolutely nothing to do with politics.
In total, they took away 13 electronic devices. Before leaving, they also thoroughly searched my car. The entire residential complex watched as if I were some kind of terrorist while eight police officers searched the vehicle.
The next day, I was required to report to the police headquarters for a five-and-a-half-hour interrogation. The official record stated that I had failed to comply with the authorities, which is a lie. I was fully cooperative.
The entire case was riddled with legal violations. It was an act of intimidation, and I was humiliated in front of my child.
These are the times that have arrived in Hungary under Péter Magyar.
This post is for the British mothers who message me and cry in DMs.
Not metaphorically.
Actually cry.
Because Casey confirmed what you always knew,
and still nothing feels safe yet.
You are not hysterical.
You are not racist for wanting your daughter home before dark.
You are not extreme for reading the audit on a school night.
You are a mother in a country that took sixteen years to write down what happened to other people's daughters.
I am a father in Japan.
I would not accept this for my child.
I do not accept it for yours either.
Keep messaging me if you must.
I will keep speaking until you can speak without fear.

🇭🇺 Magyarország értéke a térképen 6 rablás 100 ezer lakosra vetítve. Ez Európa egyik legalacsonyabb értéke Albánia (3), Liechtenstein (5) és Ciprus (6) után.
📊 A kontraszt brutális.
Kijelenthető tehát, hogy a rablások tekintetében eddig Európa egyik legbiztonságosabb országai közé tartoztunk, miközben több nyugat-európai állam egészen más biztonsági valóságot mutat.
🌍 A térképen szembetűnő mintázat látszik.

Jeremy Clarkson has never pretended to be anything other than exactly what he is
Brutally honest. No oil painting. A pot belly, a lifelong smoker, a drinker. Not exactly the modern alpha male or is he?
And somehow that is the whole point
I have watched him for most of my life
First as a motoring journalist who could make you want a car you would never own and never need
Then as something bigger
The loudest, funniest, most unfiltered mouthpiece the ordinary person ever had
A man who said the thing everyone was thinking while the rest of television tiptoed around it
From Top Gear he built something that should not have worked
Three middle aged men, The Stig, a track and a chemistry you cannot manufacture
James May the patient one
Richard Hammond the brave one
And Clarkson the force of nature dragging both of them into chaos and somehow back out again
When it all fell apart at the BBC he could have disappeared
The fracas was not his finest hour and he never pretended it was
He owned it, apologized and carried on
No reinvention, no groveling tour, no carefully managed comeback
He just kept being himself and let the work speak
The move to Amazon and The Grand Tour proved something I think a lot of people missed
The format was never the magic
The men were
You can take three friends out of a studio and drop them anywhere on earth and the loyalty between them travels with them
But it is Clarkson's Farm where the whole picture finally comes into focus
Here is a man with nothing left to prove walking into a field he barely understands and refusing to fake competence he does not have
He has run that farm at break even and then at an outright loss in full public view
No editing it into a success story
No pretending the numbers work when they do not
His farm manager hands him one brutal truth after another and he sits there and takes it
A whole season swallowed by drought even after he leaned into robotics and the most advanced farming money could buy
Technology was supposed to be the answer and the weather did not care
He showed that too
Most people would have cut it
And through all of it he has done something quietly remarkable
He has dragged the plight of the British farmer into the light
The paperwork, the council, the margins that vanish, the weather that ruins a year of work in a week
People who had never thought about where their food comes from suddenly cared because he made them care
And then there is the part nobody warned me about
Men who raise animals for meat and still love them
Who name them, worry about them, sit with them
Who treat them with respect and dignity right up to the moment they cannot keep them
And feel the full weight of sending them off
He does not hide that
He lets the camera sit in the discomfort of it
The grief of a man who knows the deal he made and still finds it hard
That is not weakness
That is honesty most people are far too afraid to show
We live in an age that rewards the polished, the curated, the carefully built personal brand
And here is a scruffy, swearing, chain smoking farmer who has done the opposite of all of it and won
He stayed exactly who he was while the world begged him to become a product
That is the whole secret
There is no act
There never was
And that is exactly why we keep watching
Praying for a full recovery mate, looking forward to another season of Clarkson's Farms!
Holy shit… This is Orwellian.
I decided to test Google to see if they would admit Antifa was a terrorist organization, and their AI lied to me.
They claimed that Antifa was “an ideology not an organization”, and I told Gemini it was wrong, and then it admitted it was wrong, and “accidentally” used outdated information.
Imagine that. Gemini said it “failed to check 2025 data”. HOW CONVENIENT TO JUST MISS THAT INFORMATION!
@Google is running cover for Left-wing domestic terrorism.
🇭🇺 Hungary is NOT poor. The Hungarian people are NOT destitute.
The Hungarian prime minister lies shamelessly both abroad and at home, claiming that Viktor Orbán has ruined Hungary’s economy, that everyone has become impoverished, and that the situation in the country has become dire.
The numbers speak for themselves. Péter Magyar can lie about gravity all he wants, but the earth will have the final say.
The facts:
GDP per capita at purchasing power parity in Hungary in 2010:
$21,900
GDP per capita at purchasing power parity in Hungary in 2025:
$48,160
GDP calculated at purchasing power parity automatically accounts for differences in price levels, so the data can be considered inflation-adjusted. Actual purchasing power has increased by 120% since 2010.
Gini index in Hungary in 2010:
29.4%
Gini index in Hungary in 2024:
27.9%
Since 2010, wealth inequality in Hungary has not increased; rather, it has decreased slightly.
EU average GINI index in 2024: 30%
Global average: 35%–41%
Scandinavian countries: <25%
In terms of wealth inequality, Hungary has consistently remained below or close to the EU average. In terms of income inequality, Hungary is more balanced than the EU as a whole and has approached the Scandinavian average.
Hungary’s average economic growth rate 2010–2024:
2.4%
EU average economic growth rate 2010–2024:
1.5%
Public debt as a percentage of GDP in Hungary
2010: 80%
2025: 76%
Public debt as a percentage of GDP (EU average)
2010: 80%
2025: 82%
Overall, the actual performance of the Hungarian economy and the average financial situation of its citizens have improved significantly and steadily over the past 15 years, accompanied by a decline in public debt as a percentage of GDP, even despite the period of extreme inflation.

Hungarian analyst Daniel Deák @deak_dani succinctly and clearly summarized the essence of today's law.
I would add that Hungary does not have a presidential system.
By amending the Fundamental Law retroactively and personally, the Tisza Party, led by Péter Magyar, has banned and prevented Viktor Orbán from becoming prime minister again.
ANALYSIS // The amendment to the Fundamental Law that barred Orbán from serving as prime minister caused a major uproar among legal experts. The amendment is clearly retroactive and tailored to a specific individual because only Orbán cannot be prime minister in 2030, while everyone else can be. This runs counter to the norms of the rule of law. Several lawyers and former constitutional court justices have also pointed out that the current amendment can easily be circumvented. Orbán does not seem concerned about this, as if the people elect him to a government position in the next election, this issue will be resolved.
In an interview with Index, Orbán stated that the amendment is about him and that he finds it amusing that "in Hungary, anyone can be barred from the people." "They're doing this against me. Let's not beat around the bush," he declared. He believes that the people will ultimately decide and that, if they want to prevent someone from being elected, they must convince the people, just as happened on April 12. Orbán called today's decision "funny and ridiculous."
Today, the Hungarian Parliament approved a constitutional amendment (“Lex Orbán”) proposed by the governing Tisza Party introducing an eight-year limit for prime ministers.
It is unacceptable because it is designed to target a single political opponent and achieve one purpose only: to prevent @PM_ViktorOrban from running for Prime Minister again. In a democracy, constitutional rules must not be rewritten to exclude political rivals from competition, especially not with retroactive effect.
Democracy is about free choice and fair competition, not eliminating rivals by changing the rules. Hungarian voters have the right to decide who governs them. No two-thirds majority should be allowed to take that choice away from them.
So, why is he hiding the details of his agreement with the EU?
Why is he hiding the details of his agreement with Ukraine?
Why is he hiding whether or not he will allow migrants in?
Why is he hiding the fact that he lifted the interest rate cap for 290,000 people?
Why is he keeping every single government step secret?
Shame on him!
Dear President @realDonaldTrump,
Dear Donald,
I would like to extend my very best wishes to you on the occasion of your 80th birthday. Presidencies come and go, but few presidents have left as lasting a mark on the United States as you have. May your list of achievements continue to grow, and may those who have doubted you continue to be proven wrong time and again.
Best regards,
Viktor
