Today, in partnership with the @GabulaRoyal, we took a monumental step forward in their shared mission to empower and uplift youth, beginning with the Busoga region and extending beyond. The signing of the MOU signifies a commitment to driving positive change and creating opportunities for young people. Over the next three years, the partnership aims to catalyze youth transformation through concerted efforts to skill, retool, and capacity building for young men and women to equip them with the tools, knowledge, and resources needed to thrive in their entrepreneurship journey.

"Today, our visions have united to empower the youth and propel them toward success. By leveraging collective expertise and resources, we aspire to empower a total of 30,000 individuals with market-relevant skills, fostering a culture of innovation, entrepreneurship, and self-reliance. Today I walked with @IsaacImaka founder of @BusogaTodayNews and head of the @GabulaRoyal

I asked Isaac what his first love is. His eyes lit up as he answered emphatically- community. It is his heartbeat, his reason for being.

We spoke about the good, the bad and the lost of community. We spoke about the centrality of good leadership and the glue of values as key to driving and deepening a sense of community.

Isaac schooled me a bit about Busoga and the role of chiefs. We spoke about the glorious city of Jinja.
